So me and my ex dated for a year and 3 months, we were awkward at first but then we got very comfortable with each other and with time knew everything about each other and we told each other things nobody else knew. But since I’m a few towns over and we don’t go to the same school, the distance was hard. We had to resort sky ping and snap chat etc. But my problem is that I broke up with him and I feel like it’s all my fault. He has a new girlfriend now and I feel like it’s a rebound relationship but I’m not exactly sure. Anyway my point is, I love him with all my heart but after the break up he had called me very rude names that made me cry a lot and feel bad about myself. So my question is is my ex worth it? Should I still be working on trying to fix things with him? Because he just completely is a jerk to me all the time.
Yes, there are certain rules even for your mini date/meet up or whatever you want to call it. As stated above, you want to keep this meet up as casual as possible. Don’t plan to meet over a nice dinner. I suggest getting coffee at Starbucks with chairs and couches where the two of you can just sit and talk. Another great idea would be to meet up at a park and go for a walk together. Honestly, the dates I have enjoyed the most wasn’t anything super romantic it was just when I was enjoying the company of someone else and walking around.
Be specific about what you are sorry for. Instead of saying, “I’m sorry for hurting you,” say, “I’m sorry for not returning your calls.” This will help convince him that you have genuinely put some thought into the things you have to be sorry for.
He keeps on texting me how fu*king coward I am for not confronting his family. I actually texted her sister already and plans to meet up yesterday afternoon. Because of his non stop texting telling me how coward I am, I texted her mom asking if I could meet her since I want to say something very important, and she told me to just text the details whatever it is because she is very busy. So I told her everything and apologized wholeheartedly. She said that she doesnt have anything against me and he knows that hes son is also drunk, in short, shes not mad at me or anything, she told me that we time will heal for both of us. I also texted her sister that I cant meet her up anymore and just told her the whole story, just like their mom, she also said she understand what I did,.
Hi me and my ex broke up 2 years ago just January we started back talking kissing and hugging, but all of a sudden the texting are not how they use to be she would text I would answer then ask her how she was doing then conversation would stop that was Thursday now it’s now Sunday, confused because she kept me in her for all this time, do I initiate the conversation again or just wait. Her actions speak louder than words there is a connection still no doubt even show said it herself.

Focus on work- It is good to distract your mind for a while and what better way to do that than with work. Careful though, you don’t want to be one of those career first women and lose sight of your goal. Remember, focusing on work in this particular case should be used to take your mind of your ex boyfriend.
Are you frustrated because your last date tried to floss his teeth with a strand of your hair after dinner, or do you really think there’s something positive and healthy worth pursuing with your ex? If it’s the former, Klow says that’s not a great reason to run back to your ex. But if it’s the latter, go for it.
Now he said that he will tell his whole family what really happened and will take legal action towards me. I know that he cant just badmouth me to his family. Last time I even kneel down and begged fr forgiveness, he said that sorry right now is nothing to him,. He said that everytime he feels the pain and he face the mirror hes hatred towards me grow and the love diminish. He told me to go to his family and confront them on what really happened and take full responsibility of my action if Im really sorry which Im willing to do, supposed to be Ill go there tomorrow to confront them but he did not let me.
Be the person he fell in love with. While spending time with your ex as friends, give him reasons to remember all of the things he loves about you. Accentuate the traits you know he loves, like your sense of humor or your empathy.
ssnell, As I mentioned in the blog, giving your ex space now is the best chance of getting back with him later. Let your feelings be a mystery to him and only respond when he reaches out. There are no guarantees but this IS the best way to encourage him to connect with his love and desire for you.
For any great relationship, you need a combination of things: honesty, empathy, compassion, loyalty. But if you are starting over with a past love, you’ll need all that plus a few critical things, which all relationships need:
