Your instincts will tell you that if you just agree to everything your ex wants, they will come back. Your instincts will tell you that your needs, your values, your desires, your goals don’t matter. Your instincts will tell you that the only thing that matters is to get your ex back. And for that, you can sacrifice everything.

(Disclaimer: These only work if you actually do the things you are talking about. So, don’t make any situations up. How will it look if he goes to verify and finds out your lying about being out and about with another guy?)

Where did I come up with this? Actually this really happened to me. I was dating a girl and after we broke up I happened to run into her at a Starbucks and even though we had a short friendly conversation I couldn’t take my eyes off of her because she just looked so gorgeous. She looked so good in fact that all I could think was “how in the hell did I let her get away?”

I had to end relationship up with my girlfriend (5 years living together) due the fact she found another man to entertain her and she was not willing to make the decision: me or other guy. I tried this no contact rule and she keeps calling and texting me once a day (or so). If I did not answer her contacts, she is getting very upset and sends me irritating messages (like blaming me that I can’t be trusted in serious situations). If I answer her because I assume that there was a really serious reason that she would call me, but there isn’t. If we talk about weather and general stuff, it is fine. If or conversation goes to us or our past, she gets upset and tries to end the call. Last conversation she hinted me that if I would not call her more occasionally, I would waste my opportunity. She even encouriged to call her any time.

This one is risky and may not get you a yes to a meet up but it allows you the ability to try again later whereas the method below this one pretty much lays your cards on the table. Ok, the way this works is simple:

My ex made me do things am not suposed to do because i could not stand is new behaviour and act towards me anymore and we lost trust for each other dor i still love him but i was the one who decide the breakup cos i had enough of it already nw he is far from me we don’t usually see on the road is there a chance of getting him back and making him beg me to come back

ExposingLove.com is a relationship advice website that has helped many women in difficult situations with their love lives – to reach a place of calm and happiness with their very own Mr. Right. Though each situation is different, most of the advice on this website can be applied.

I don’t need to explain this one do I? Ok, basically this is a tactic where you tell your ex boyfriend what you miss about your relationship. Be careful though because these messages need to be worded properly or your screwed.

If you ever, even for a second, doubt my love for you, speak to me immediately. Don’t just sit there and start assuming things. Don’t just sit there and wallow in misery of our broken love. Don’t resort to these unreasonable measures. Just ask me. It’s my job to remind you that I do in fact love you every single day.

Me and my ex are both 20 years old and were in a relationship for a year. about 3 weeks ago he brought up the thought of wanting to break up, which surprised me. during the next two weeks we were kinda on a break because he claimed as being confused about everything and didn’t know what to do. then we met up again and he said he still isn’t sure whether we should break up or be together. he said that he probably doesn’t love me as much as i love him and that staying together might be a bad idea. i said that it’s probably best if we break up if he isnt completely sure that he wants me. so it was a kind of a mutual decision but it felt like neither of us wanted to actually do it. it is also worth noting that we are both currently very stressed as we are busy with college. we haven’t been in any contact for a week now so i don’t know what he feels right now, but i still wish that he would realise what he did and that he would want me back. i plan on not contacting him for a few weeks but I am afraid that he will work on getting over me during this time. when we were dating we used to take the same train about once a week. should i normally go on that train and just act friendly if i see him or should i avoid seeing him for a while?

Well Its been 3 months. I did reach out with a text to wish him Happy Holidays. He responded with the same. He then has been liking my Facebook posts and even commented. I feel he wants to be in contact with me.

It is essential that you talk about experiences that your ex enjoyed. A lot of people screw up because they only talk about stuff that they miss. Make sure you are talking about stuff that your ex misses as well. Here is a good example of how this should be done.

I broke up with my ex two weeks ago and he begged for me and cried and I took him back! Because I thought we could work this out. He dumped me 5 days ago because he didn’t feel like “himself” when meanwhile he’s been acting distant, rude, and cruel. I want him back and am meeting him tomorrow. However I have been texting sad things but I’m trying not too. It’s not over for me. I love him.

i have a crush on this guy at school, and whenever i take the tests, they always say mixed signals or yes, so i don’t know….. like, we practically have every class together (except art) and i usually sit with him if we don’t have assigned seats in that class and he’s always ok with it. whenever we talk he makes eye contact with me and usually gets his hair out of his eyes (it always gets in his face and its ADORABLE) and he loves telling jokes….i sit with him and his group of guy friends at lunch, and whenever he makes a joke to the group, we make eye contact for likes three seconds then break, and he always asks me for food, and occasionally i go up to him and give him the food, and he always says thank you, and he constantly compliments me on how nice i am and the most physical contact we’ve made is accidental hand touching when giving each other stuff and shoulder taps, nothing more, and he talks to a lot of girls from the other grades (7th and 8th and 6th) and from our grade, too. He also loves teasing and talking to one of my best friends, but my friend doesn’t have a crush on him (she told me who she has a crush on, and its someone completely different) and i don’t know what to do…HELP! If you have a reply, plz put @lovebird at the beginning so i know its for me. 🙂

Note: Although the quiz uses an advanced algorithm based on relationship science and academic research to calculate the score, it is not 100% accurate. However, the results should prove to be helpful and guide you further through what you should do next.

You got a score of zero? Don’t worry — it’s a good thing! It sounds like your relationship is on a pretty healthy track, it’s possible that a friend of yours does not. If you know someone who is in an abusive relationship, find out how you can help them by visiting www.loveisrespect.org

Continue with no contact and work on picking yourself up and improving the aspects of your life. At least from there, you’ll be able to find more meaning at happiness and eventually even learn to be happy without her. If she comes back into your life, it’ll be a bonus and at least you’ve mentally prepared yourself and would be capable of walking away in the event that she doesn’t.
