If you have the patience and emotionally capacity, I would suggest waiting it out and staying with friends with him first and see if their relationship lasts. If not, it would be a better idea cutting him out completely since it’s only fair to yourself.

This is another legitimate reason for a breakup. Unfortunately, in my personal opinion it says more about of his lack of character (unless you were really boring but I doubt that) than anything you actually did. Luckily, seeming boring is quite easy to fix!

Carrie Cole, M.Ed., LPC, master certified trainer and director of research at the Gottman Institute, tells Cosmopolitan.com that a couple’s mutual well-being is rooted in trust, shared goals and interests, an ability to have fun together, and a willingness to address differences of opinion gently.

I am deeply in love with my ex, and i know he is too. He is just like a girl tho so indecisive. doesnt know what he wants.. he does know he wants me, but he thinks that he cant tell me. he has an issue with expressing his feelings. and he has made me cry, and been a jerk sometimes… but i still love him soo much and dont know what ill do without him.

7 days ago he broke up with me. Reason for breaking up was that he doesn’t have time for me, that he isn’t sure what he wants, maybe it’s other girls, but he has everything he wants with me, so he needs time to think. But I think that he has someone else now.

Personally, it’s been quite a long while. It may be worth a shot to try contacting her once more and you could be honest and explain the situation back then and apologize for it, then see if she’s willing to still stay friends.

I may do a review of the book you mention. If so I will reference your excellent comment. Thanks so much for writing in, and also for your encouraging feedback about my perspective of hope and attempts to change before writing off an abusive person.

However, don’t go overboard in pushing them. Like ”Come on. Just go out with me once. Please. Pretty please.” Or “You broke up with me and broke my heart. The least you can do is go out with me one time.”

If you haven’t heard anything from them yet and it has been past a couple of days then this could mean a couple of things. They are either extremely excited by the prospect of moving forward with things and they can sense that you are trying to move things along but this also makes them extremely nervous.

Hooking up with a friend isn’t always a one night stand. About half of single people say they’ve slept with a friend. But a Match.com survey of more than 6,000 people found that about 44% of those arrangements turn into long-term relationships. What we don’t know is whether those are just lasting hookups or more committed relationships. [otp_overlay]
