Over the past two months, I’ve made a lot of personal strides and feel better about myself and not nearly as sad as I once was. I still have moments where I break down because I truly loved the girl, and the breakup came out of nowhere. Jan. 30 is fast approaching, and that marks two years since we first met (I’m currently a senior in college, she’s a junior). February marks a lot of what would be two-year anniversaries and I know it’s going to be a tough month. I’ve received a lot of advice, had multiple deep conversations with my support group, but I truly want my ex back (different from needing her). How should I go about reaching out to her, as I was planning on it around the end of January. (I wrote her a handwritten letter at the end of September and the day after my birthday she sent me an email telling me she wanted to quit contact. I’ve had one outburst since then Halloween weekend.)

The 20-question “True Love or True Loser?” relationship quiz is inspired by Dr Joseph Carver’s famous article “Are You Dating a Loser? Identifying Losers, Controllers and Abusers” and has been co-authored by Dr Carver. This quiz is intended to help you become aware of aspects of your relationship experiences which Dr Carver has associated with hurtful relationships and potentially, at particularly high levels, with the types of abuse sometimes linked to personality disorders.

Thank you for your reply, he has not blocked me just deleted me, I got the impression that it was out of anger but I’m not sure. He has not blocked my phone number so should I message when NC is over?

Let’s have a look at some sample questions. What are the four main forms of intimacy? What did Freud state about parent-child relationships? What relationship statuses are available on the popular social network Facebook? How do you find our quiz? Is it right for you? We really hope so because we’ve got huge plans for you.

To be entirely honest, there’s always a chance, but in long distance relationships, that chance can be a lot slimmer. If she’s dating someone new and he is in the same country as her, it’s very hard for you to compete because anything you do without being in close proximity can easily be misinterpreted. I would honestly suggest that you be fair to yourself and not contact her for the time being. Practice the No Contact rule for a period before considering anything again.

Thanks a lot for your advice. I’m just wondering if you maybe make it sound too easy by saying “5 steps to getting an ex back”… in my experience it can take months of work and still you may not win them back. Anyway thanks for the interesting read… Good luck all!

If you are asking yourself the following question: how to keep my man satisfied? Then you’ve come to the right post, I will show you what to do in order to not only satisfy him, but to also keep him interested in you for a very long time, in fact, forever!

My main suggestion is to keep doing more of what you have been doing, that is, talking openly, letting go of any pressuring of each other, appreciating and enjoying the positive sides of your relationship, and taking on faith that if the relationship is meant to be, it will be.

One of the most popular questions I get around here is “how do I get my ex boyfriend back if I cheated on him/ if he cheated on me.” First things first, when it comes to cheating you need to understand one thing. Men and women cheat for very different reasons.

Finally, the results page will give you specific advice related to your own unique breakup scenario, as well as information on how you can improve your current standings in the eyes of your ex boyfriend or girlfriend.

I don’t know if i have did something wrong but 2 days ago i have update my blog about my life than right at the bottom i put a p.s stating that “i still miss him”. I did not update a post yst and i can see someone still reading my previous post and i guess its him. Then today i post something about my life again then below i again post a p.s saying “i still love him and miss him i wish he could let me love him again but i know its impossible”. I guess he have read it maybe more than once. Should i stop updating my blog or stop the p.s msg thing.

She could be confused still, unable to let go of the past, or perhaps she wants to start off as friends first and is trying to see how she still feels about you. There could also be the last option that she really just wants to maintain a friendship with you and is over you already. I suggest you take things at face value for now since it would be easier compared to second guessing at every turn. Just continue to build up a friendship and bond, before seeing how things go from there. Don’t be too impatient or you would push her away completely.

Peter did a lot of studying of couple skills on his own via books and a website.  At the same time, he had a therapist for guidance when he felt stuck and to help him with insights and deeper subconscious change.  Finding a therapy professional to help you through this kind of crisis can be helpful, provided it is a therapist who helps you to see and rectify your relationship mistakes.

It will help keep your mind off your ex (probably)- When you are busy you have less time to mope around or think about your ex. Instead of being completely miserable and depressed you are doing something constructive and dare I say having a bit of fun?

Ok, so those are pretty much the most basic things of the big NO-NO’s of the no contact period. Now we get to the good stuff. Honestly, I am getting excited here because this is where you start taking the first steps of getting your ex boyfriend back. Granted, they are baby steps but they are still steps in the right direction.

True intimacy runs deeper than sex and physical affection. It develops from love, trust, respect and acceptance. Relationships naturally experience ebbs and flows in intimacy, so take this quiz to gauge just how intimate your relationship is.

Yes if you haven’t done NC before, and have still been in contact with him through the 3 months, it might be better to actually proceed with the No Contact rule to separate yourself from the situation.

Alright, assuming you successfully engaged your ex boyfriend and got a decent response you can move on to this section. I’ll admit that you will have a distinct advantage here if you had a long relationship and made a lot of great memories. If your relationship was brief then this part of engaging your ex may be a little bit more challenging. However, that doesn’t mean anything bad it just means you might have to get more creative.
