Hey I need help! So me and my ex broke up 2 weeks ago. I tried to get her back at first but stopped after I saw it wasn’t working. I just started the no contact phase and am giving her time it’s been 3 days no contact. I’m fine with the no contact but here’s the tricky part, shes getting surgery Tuesday(4 days from now) and is really nervous. When we were together I was a jerk and didn’t make a big deal about it and it hurt her. So now what Idk is should I text her the night before and say something about it like goodluck don’t be nervo use it’ll be okay, just good luck or nothing at all? Help please!!
If you have kids together- The last thing you want is to come off like a jerk. So, if you are in this situation make sure you keep your interactions to a minimum. Keep things short, simple and positive.
Now, I don’t want you to engage her in any long and meaningful conversations yet. Wait until your 30 days are up for that. Instead, keep any conversations you have with her very short but pleasant. The idea is that when you leave the room she has to think to herself:
Timing is another crucial part of talking to an ex girlfriend. Approaching her with the right words at the right time can easily turn your ex around, getting her to see your past relationship – and possible future – in a whole different light.
Casually hang out with your ex. Do something non-committal like have a drink with friends or play miniature golf, including him or her with others. Make it something friends and first dates alike can do. And whatever it is, keep it fun and skip out on the serious talks for now.
One another way is to start doing some sort of charity work. This is one important tool to not only get in contact with the new people but also increase the circle of people that can even die for you. Moreover, the real concept of this is to let go off your worries and start worrying about the people who are living a desperate life. Feed the orphans, give shelter to people who are homeless and defend the poor. This way not only your inner self with be entertained but also Your personality will groom day by day.
I have successfully started cross-fit, a new job and become open in possibly moving for my career and taking the next step in growth. I have also sought therapy, opened myself back to God, and dove into various self-help books.
That’s great to hear! Well to answer your question, respect is very subjective and the reason people start messing around with others isn’t so much out of the lack of respect in my opinion, but when a need or requirement in the relationship isn’t met, thus causing the person to seek it with someone else. It could either be physical needs, emotional needs, or others. If you want to avoid this happening in the future, you might need to ask yourself and think from her point of view and wonder why she cheated the first time around, and prevent it.
“How long am I expected to live like this? The days are VERY lonely. It’s an unbelievably depressing feeling to wake up and immediately realize that I’m not home, and have no friends or family to talk with … I get up, I meditate, I swim, I go to work, I eat, I lift some weights, I meditate again and go to sleep. Wash, rinse, and repeat. I’m not enjoying work (which would normally be a decent distraction), but feel I can’t quit, as I have too many financial responsibilities I have to uphold. I’m amazed I haven’t gone mad yet.
Unfortunately one day she stopped supporting my dreams, our relationship started to struggle and we ultimately ended 65 days ago now. We tried as friends for the last month of it but it wasn’t working and one night when I told her I loved her, she didn’t feel the same, and we ended everything. No talking, no reconciliation, we just stopped. She reached out a day after to say sorry but it didn’t go anywhere.
Create boundaries at home and limit the time spent there while she is around. Perhaps go out more, and even if you are at home, sleep in different rooms and engage in as little small talk as possible. You could use this article to provide you with more tips on what you can do while she’s still around.
Well, one of the negatives of carrying on a conversation for that amount of time is that you don’t leave a person wanting more. Sure, if the conversation was amazing they may call back the next day. However, what if I told you that there was a surefire way to leave your ex girlfriend wanting more.
A “pull” is what the other person does in response to the push. A “pull” is a loss of interest or a display of indifference. It can be anything from them saying “I need more space” to completely leaving you. Usually the less interested person is doing all the “pulling.”
Getting back together is a learnable skill. The things you do immediately after your breakup can determine whether you’ll win your girlfriend back, or whether you’ll scare her completely off by making all the wrong moves.
