I know how it feels to wake up in the morning and have that moment before you even open your eyes where the reality of a world without your ex comes crashing down, and it feels hard to breathe. Or the feeling that you won’t be able to make it through the day, let alone the next hour. I know that feeling all too well, and it took months for it to go away. In fact, thinking and writing about it now is making me sad, and it’s been months since my breakup.
In this case, you have to find out whether you have already healed. Is there no risk that your past hurts will return if you get back with her? Can you promise not to bring back the same issue once again and allow the two of you to have a fresh start?
The woman i love more than anything on earth broke up with me over something in the past when we weren’t together which I’ve told her the truth over and over again but she doesn’t believe me when i tell it to her she thinks I’m a liar. But i gave her space and everything so she can be alone we broke up about 6 months ago now also. Im her first love she is mine but now she has been texting me saying she is so in love with another guy and she is over me and everything but she calls me wants to know if I’m talking to women and everything like she still wants me but she swears she is in love with another guy. This breaks me down because when i love someone i give them everything.. i just want to know what to do?? I love her and was about to propose to her then this popped up… Whats your opinion??
Hi ive been dating my partner for 6 months now. Everything was going perfect for us both.she fell pregnant and i proposed and we got engaged what we both wanted we were both so happy.she decided to have an abortion due to we both wernt financially stable and didnt plan the pregnancy.its was an emotional time for both of us individually. I unfortunately didnt show her support or comfort her during this life changing experience and i made a regretful unmeanful decision and broke up with her.we have been separated for 2 months now and we meet up a month ago caught up for 2 days she mentioned her feelings we still there altho she doesnt want any comments on a relationship at this stage. Until i become more stable and fix some issues i have in my life.I have acknowledged my behavior as i was expressing my hurt emotions and feelings towards her and i begged alittle and didny get me anywhere.. she isnt respondingto my messages or call I’ve respect our situation and havnt its been bit over 2 weeks ive made no contact, until Christmas day i wished her a merry Christmas i didnt get a reply. Im making positive changes in my life and improving my issues. I need some professional guidance and advice aswell as steps to reconnect with my ex.. I sincerely appreciate your understanding and support. Regards Theo
If you are on the edge of your seat for every text, response or call then you aren’t going to do well because you don’t want to rush this thing. Instead, you kind of want things to unfold naturally (more on this later.)
These can’t be dates with old friends or people you already know. They CAN be with the same person (as long as it is a new person), or with 3 different people, that is up to you. I would recommend at least two people but it’s not required if you enjoy one person’s company.
Hi thanks for the great advice! Also it’s hard with the NC rule due to we work together. Just today I talked with her for the first time in 4 days only because I have to at work. Although I said hello and merry Christmas, it was still strictly only work related . She was very dry with me even though it was only work related.
Let’s say you and your ex-girlfriend used to fight all the time regarding your possessiveness. Rate yourself; are you too possessive? If so, you should understand that it is not healthy for a relationship. If on the other hand, you saw your ex-girlfriend with another boy, one who is more outgoing than you, so you must change? No. You’re should never change, but you can improve yourself.
Hi, I just split up with my girlfriend of 7 years. We were great together, completely in love and talked about marriage and growing old together, we traveled the world together, everyone knows us as a perfect couple, we never fought always laughed together… however the last 2 years have been very difficult. We have been living together for over 5 years but the last 2 years have been a stressful living situation as I had to take in a friend that was in need. I also started my own business which kept me extremely busy.
When you feel things are going wrong, you should be the one who says “lets just be friends, it’s not working out”. This will immediately put you in control of the whole situation and spark feelings of loss on her side.
I understand that this is a very difficult time in your life. I have gone through it myself. But believe me, this is actually a great opportunity in your life. When things are normal in our life, we actually don’t feel a need to work on ourselves. But it’s only in situations like these do we feel that burning fire within to change, improve and succeed. I was going through a similar situation in my first year of college. By the time I graduated, I was the best student of my batch/class, and now I have 3 companies of my own.
The first and most important step in texting your ex is to maybe not do it at all. Are you drunk? Are you sad? Do you just want attention? Are you trying to make someone else jealous? Most importantly, is there someone else you can contact about this issue other than your ex? Maybe an old mutual friend?
It is good to improve your personality and getting rid of negatives. However, it is not only okay to change yourself for an ex-girlfriend who cannot love you for whom you are, then you deserve better. The time you spend away of your former partner, use it to take care of yourself. Try to improve your appearance and indulge in a particular activity that you like.
If you find reinventing yourself difficult to accomplish, consider picking up a new hobby, going out with friends, or going to the gym to let off some steam. In fact, exercise releases certain hormones in your brain that increases your mood and happiness… so go out and be active!
Ultimately, getting her back will hinge upon how well you can read your ex’s emotional patterns. With just the right timing, you can approach your ex when she’s most susceptible and open to the idea of getting back together again.
Women are ticking time bombs in terms of their fertility, and you had better believe that there’s an evolutionary part of your ex’s brain driving her towards the goal of having a child. For that reason, women need to see progress in relationships that indicates to them that they are on course to have kids.
Seriously?? That’s actually what I was kinda thinking!my girlfriend left me last November and i really want her back still!!she blocked me on facebook not long ago it couldn’t of been but maybe a few days if that!until I noticed I wasn’t blocked anymore!i only message her about once every week or two!i can see that she reads them but I never get a reply!i just know that I was messing up a lot…not cheating but…anyways I also finally started a very good new job I hope this will help?
Show her you’ve changed. You can let her see that you’re a changed man without shouting, “Look how different I am!” Just spend enough time with her to see that you really have changed your ways, if changing your ways was necessary. If she thought you were too messy, put an effort into your appearance. If she criticized you for always showing up late, make a conscious effort to show up early to your next coffee date. Don’t point out these changes; let her see for herself and she will be truly impressed.
What if your ex works at your job and still talks to you friendly? Should I engage or should I ignore her politely? Idk what to do here. Just to let you, we broke up last night and we argued like hell. [otp_overlay]
