Firstly, I want you to notice how the initial start of the text, the “I saw “Psych” and thought of you” was very interesting. Your goal here is to come up with a text message that is so interesting that it will be impossible for her to not respond to it.
The good news is that there is potential for ending up with reunion and a better-than-ever relationship ahead. Here’s five steps that can save folks from crashing down the waterfall, enabling them instead to find solid ground and a bridge to a better future.
I don’t have a full understanding of your situation but it sounds like you were fine without her. Figure out what’s best for you in the long run. I recommend asking yourself ” What would the type of man I want to be 5 years down the road do in this situation?”
It may be possible there are numbers of things that your ex was doing that make you uncomfortable. For example, she may leave all her crap in the bathroom, and you get angry for not having any space for your stuff. Or she may yell at you for watching television and drinking a beer when you are in the mood of unwinding yourself.
Please do tell me how I’m going to get him back after being apart for so long, plus we don’t even live close together so it’s not like I’m going to run into him. So I want to know how I’m going to get him to spend time with me and how I will get him back or get him to want me.
Even being in a good facility (and finally having health insurance), the early days of my my recent hospitalization can only be described as dehumanizing. I was stripped of my phone, my belongings, and all my clothes, put in a thin hospital gown, and left in a cold, harshly lit room, given no clear answers by the nurses who took my blood, their faces marked by various shades of pity and concern. I was able to get my diary back and at least put my thoughts, however jumbled, onto paper. I wrote, in part, “How did I end up here again? I feel like I’m being punished asking for help. They handle me here like I’m made of glass, like I’m a child unaware of how the world works. But I see just fine.” The last statement isn’t entirely true. I was suicidal and deeply depressed, after all. In reading my diary passage, I am reminded that even the most empathetic filmmakers have yet to understand that living in the world with mental illness, if you have a modicum of self-awareness and high functionality, is a constant negotiation of self. Being in the hospital heightens this truth — any darkly wry joke could be misinterpreted as a cry for help, and so much of life inside a hospital is out of your control considering there are bed checks every 15 minutes. Being a black woman, I’ve learned, compounds these issues given that our lives are already heavily circumscribed and our humanity is rarely acknowledged in all its complexity.
Are you where you want to be in life? Is your career making you happy? Do you have a goal you what to achieve? Keep your goals in mind and keep your eyes on the prize. Focusing on the future will make it easier to stop dwelling on the past.
the funny think is that I knew what i was doing is wrong but could not stop my self because my brain was focused so much on her , that I lost my self in the process of relationship, work and family , had problems on every angle
The advice from the first poster (I couldn’t see a name) was very good, but I’d like to tweak some of it slightly. When these sad thoughts about your ex come up, you can think of them as just waves on the ocean. They appear and then they’ll disappear. If they hang around, it’s because you’re focusing on them. Rather than saying “push them away,” I would say “let them go by as they naturally will.” The more you focus on them, the more power you give them.
Give her some space. The first thing you need to do is give the girl some space. If you start knocking down her door and calling her every five minutes she’ll only pull further away from you. The amount of space and time you give her depends on what happened when you tried to date her. If you ended a serious relationship, you’ll need to give her more space than you would if you had just dated a few times.

Sorry, but this is one of those things in life you’re not going to get. Just like the cookie you cried over when you were a kid, and the
