When you can let go of your relationship and accept the fact that at the moment you’re completely single, it will get rid of the root of any insecurity and empower you to bring positivity back into your life.
This will make him feel horrible that he can’t have you anymore whenever he wants. Desire kicks in, and now he feels like an idiot for not staying with you. After he runs into you, he’ll think “Gosh, she looks amazing!” – just wait to see his jaw drop when he sees how you look 5 times better. I know this sounds shallow, but it works simply because most guys think with what they’ve got in their pants, not with their heart or brain. Even if he’s a pretty smart guy, physical attraction can be the first step to getting your ex-boyfriend back. It’s just the first step, but it’s a crucial one – ’cause now you’ve got your foot in the door. You throw a hook and wait for him to bite.
Our childhood is the deepest corner of our psyche that pretty much rules our adult life. Talking about your childhood and how it affected you is a great way to understand yourself and your ex girlfriend on a deeper level. Again, use creative questions like;
Now these are just some basic examples, but these types of messages will make your ex pause and think about you in a different way. Of course you need to follow up with more AND be smart about what you say when they respond.
Look, if you’re serious about this guy and you really want him back in your life, then you must change. Changing may not be easy, but it’s necessary if you want your relationship to be better than the last time. It’s quite simple. If you keep doing what you’ve been doing – you’ll keep getting the same results. So don’t expect a happily ever after, supercool happy ending if you aren’t willing to do things differently than you did before, otherwise you’ll just end up breaking up again.
Work on long distance issues. If you and your boyfriend broke up because you weren’t able to make your long distance relationship work, don’t give up hope! Long distance relationships are hard, but it is possible to make them work if you stay strong and give your partner the attention he needs.
Because something about your behavior is making her feel as if you are not really committed to her. She feels that, although she’s attracted to you, you won’t give her what she wants and needs from a relationship (i.e. support her, and not keep f***ing other girls). This is completely different from a situation where you’re trying to get a girl back when she has moved on.
Did you completely cut out your social life? Do you no longer hang with your friends? Did you constantly find yourself being in demand of your ex’s time to do certain activities together as opposed to doing them alone? If you answered yes to any of the previous questions the odds are that you were in fact too needy.
Not even 6mos later I got pregnant. He was STILL treating me like shit. I told him an stated “we gotta do something here. We need to really get it together..” of coarse he replied “ok”… 4wks later. I left him again. He had done something just terrible. Out of pure spite. Oh it hurt. I went to see shrinks for almost a year in the mean time. Went through alot. I was pregnant an emotional. He treated me like shit the whole time. Just angry. Finally the baby was born. He never left my side. When she was 4mos old. We moved in together along w/my other daughter. This time I was so fresh an a year of counseling an womens groups. Religously!! Every week.. I just knew itd work. Uuh, no. Mr Douche got back on his ass hole box. So I asked again. Can we plsssssssss work on this. Can I help you w/ur issues. Nope, nope, nope.. He’d agree to get help to get me to shut up. I left after 5mos in this house. Lived together for another 7mos. Same bed. No sex. Yet he an I are stubborn as an ox. That bedtime was when we seem to be peaceful. So confused of everything. But no one is exchanging feelings. I feel he wont care an he never expresses his feelings. But it just felt right. Every night was nice. I loved it. But HATED how he treated me otherwise.
I was keeping some financial or company things hidden only because not to make her sad on that. But on many occasions when she comes to know about it she will burst out and will become so violent and try to break from me and the relationship. I had given oath many times to her that I won’t lie or hide anything from her. But on many occasions due to fear of losing her, I kept hidden and lied many times to her. in last December one such thing happened and finally, she left me. nearly after 1 year, i managed to get her back as my employee in my company. on condition, i will not pressure her into the former relationship but only employee and max a normal friend but not intimate. We were had a lot of discussions apologies, but nothing worked out. now she is with me for my family as she needed there to run the company. she is not happy if care here more and if showed much affection. But she is very normal to me now.
When you first start no contact, you are going to grieve a lot. You are going to feel all the emotions that people going through grief feel. You will feel denial, anger, depression, confusion and obsession.

I am afraid he completely lost his faith in it which is not a wonder if I think about it. Even I am happier without that relationship because that was a constant fight between my heart and mind. What I would like to do: start a completely new thing with him because I think we might match naturally, only I protected myself against love all along. But I am aware that human beings are not guniea pigs so it might be late. I just wanna get the highest chance to start it again if possible at all. I hurt him so many times and we had 3 breakups during 3 months. So it is almost hopeless to base a new start on good memories.
How do I tell him I don’t want to see him? Yes I do want him back exclusively as he is my one. Our relationship didn’t have any problems. I personally feel at 50.5 years old he’s going through a mid-life crisis.
My bf of five months is going thru a divorce. He broke up with me saying he could fall in love with me so easily but can’t let himself and needs time to heal from his marriage. It is an increasingly messy divorce. He messaged the next day saying he has set up counselling and will sort everything out and then again to say he loved every minute with me and is sorry he’s not himself right now. I told him to take the time he needs to heal and have been responding to his texts but am finding this all very had and confusing….
Unfortunately one day she stopped supporting my dreams, our relationship started to struggle and we ultimately ended 65 days ago now. We tried as friends for the last month of it but it wasn’t working and one night when I told her I loved her, she didn’t feel the same, and we ended everything. No talking, no reconciliation, we just stopped. She reached out a day after to say sorry but it didn’t go anywhere.

Just to update you, Saturday morning (6:30am) as I checked my phone, I received 12 missed calls from my ex boyfriend, he was calling me around 5:30 in the morning, but I put my phone on silent thats why I did not hear him calling. Anyways, I tried calling him twice as well because Im thinking it might be emergency thats why hes calling me, he did not answer. After 4 hours, he called, asking if Im calling him, I told him he is the one calling and Im just calling back. he said to just dont mind it and he is just drunk. I said ok. When I checked my other phone,he sent a wrong message, ” I was looking for you, as usual you left me if you have somebody”, obviously he is with another girl last night. So I replied, I told him to resend the number to the right person and probably its impt for her to know that you are looking for her yesterday. He said that its just a friend, who was introduced my his male friend. He said that he’s been seeing the girl for a couple of days already when the incident happened. She left him yesterday because all through out that night, hes drunk and been talking about me. Anyways, for this moment, I dont give a d*mn anymore.
Listen, it is not that odd for romantic feelings to fade over time. In fact it is the most common reason for a breakup. Michael’s strategies help your ex remember why they fell in love with you, and this gets them to “forgive and forget” problems from the past. She might still be attracted to you. She might still feel that you are a confident attractive guy. But she does NOT SEE HERSELF BEING WITH YOU IN THE LONG TERM. She just thinks that you are both not compatible.
No, that does not define a great relationship. That’s just an average relationship with an average honeymoon period. A great relationship is based on honesty, respect, trust and communication. How would you rate your relationship on these four factors? If you think it was great in all four areas, then you can go ahead and say that your relationship with your ex was great. And I sincerely wish you the best in winning your ex back.
And if your mind is trying to tell you that they were the best that you could get, have a little faith. Your ex was in your life for a reason, and you very likely catalyzed each other into the kind of people you needed to be in order to attract your ultimate partner.
It’s miraculous that Mary ended up giving me so many chances, but she always tells me that I was the same person as I was back in 2008—just way less shitty. She always loved 2008-era me; I just needed to get my head on straight. I hope that part makes it into her vows. [otp_overlay]
