An unfailing recipe for success, or an unhealthy blueprint for obsession? If life has taught me one thing, it’s that trying too hard to plot the course of your life results in totally unexpected developments. Nobody ever said love was easy, but it’s virtually impossible to sustain a loving relationship if its success requires you to be someone you’re not. So I would offer this as a final two-part suggestion: don’t try too hard, and always be yourself. And don’t forget to read up on dating and boyfriend advice on leading dating blogs and dating forums. May all your pursuits be fruitful!

wow. The advice sounds great and seems so hard. I find it hard to grieve a relationship… I found it easier to just rebound… I know that will only mess me up more. I gona try these steps but what could I do when this hot new guy asks me out?

abuse of any kind. If your ex has ever laid a hand on you to hurt you, or coerced you to have sex or do other things you did not feel comfortable doing, then he or she was abusive and you should not try to win that person back.[20]

I’m not going to lie. It’s going to take a lot of patience, discipline, and practice. But if you’re are serious about winning your ex boyfriend back, you should be prepared to go the extra mile. Especially if he’s the one.

Here’s my problem, I was begging, pleading, and trying to look pity for my ex-girlfriend just to make her stay. We had sex then goodbye. Then i saw your videos about No Contact Rules. Following your advice about no contact rules was hard as hell. My target is FULL 30 DAYS no contact but in my two weeks of battle. Suddenly she texted me, i try to ignore her, then she call me using other number so we talked since its likely rude to ignore her at all. She told me she wasn’t happy in her new bf. She felt sorry for me. She’s asking me if there was any chance to rebuild our relationship? Is she still welcome to my life? I told her i am awesome now, i currently dating to someone else the she get madly jealous. She doesn’t want me to date others. She really want to see me but ill be the one who refuse to see her. I told her i will only see you when you come back to me. She wanted me to stick around but u said to your videos not to get in friendzone.

We totally get it: break-ups are tough. When it comes to bad break-ups, we collegiettes have all been there–curled up on the couch with a pint of Ben and Jerry’s, moping about our (now ex-) boyfriend and browsing though the newly posted pictures of him and his new girlfriend on Facebook. Getting over a break-up with your boyfriend is hard enough, but figuring out how to stop obsessing over him can be even harder. Maybe you constantly find yourself reaching for your cell phone to text him or you can’t seem to go anywhere without hearing Adele’s “Someone Like You” on the radio, but either way, you can’t get over him.

You don’t need and are not required to be friends with your ex. You do not need to talk to or spend time with an ex after a break up. There is nothing wrong with cutting an ex off completely from your life, in fact, sometimes it helps with the moving on process.

– Don’t have sex until you know what’s going on. Keeping the physical connection going will cloud judgment and keep you from seeing the situation as it is. It will also distract you from dealing with the real issues you need to be thinking about if you’re going to give it another go-around.

Hi, well I have a lot memories with my ex and that’s the hardest part to just let go. We broke up almost 3 years ago and we’re still single. We still talk and yes, we’re single for all this time since our broke up. I don’t know how to describe our relationship, it’s too complicated. Yes I’m still in love with her as much as before. She said she still love me too. But she cheated on me and that’s the reason we broke up. I’m so hurt and that’s the most painfull memory I’ve ever had. We would marry each other if we could, but unfortunately we couldn’t. She said she regret for all what she’s done. I forgive her, but it’s too hard to comeback. My self refuse to accept her as my girlfriend while my other half need her to be with me because I can’t lie I love her. Is she my true love? I can’t even thinking about love if it’s not about her. I don’t know what to do. I think I will always alone for the rest of my life.

The whole point of No Contact is to avoid conversations with her, general or relationship wise until you feel more sorted out emotionally to deal with things rationally. The only conversations that is encouraged is if it’s a serious issue (financial matters, divorce paperwork, children, etc). You should tell her that you would like some space since the relationship has ended to work on yourself.

If you think that by being friends with your ex, you can stay in their lives and hopefully get back together again, you are just plain wrong. By being friends you are not giving yourself and your ex enough time and space to heal. Not to mention, you will probably end up getting friendzoned by your ex. You could end up listening to your ex complaining about their new lovers (cue : Ex-girlfriends)  or they might propose being friends with benefits (cue: Ex-boyfriends).

Thanks for replying, if she is a grass is greener kind of thing, would that mean that she is unlikely a rebound? When he had the conversation with me he said he still had feelings for me but he was tired of missing me and being lonely and just really wanted both of us to move on as this wasn’t healthy anymore.

One of the direct approaches to getting your ex-boyfriend back is to adopt a healthy lifestyle. Return to the life with passion and bring a spark in your personality. By using proper diet, exercise, sleep and healthy habits you can amaze everyone with your sexy and gorgeous looks. Make sure you avoid anxiety and depression as much as possible.
