Time heals all wounds, as the saying goes, but time well-spent heals them more quickly. Take whatever time you need to mull over your feelings and sort them out, but don’t get into the habit of wallowing in them. Push yourself to move on to more constructive behaviors whenever you’re able.

If you recently split up with your girlfriend then you’re probably hurting REAL bad right now. You feel sick to your stomach, with no energy, you can’t be bothered to see anyone and you just want to be left alone.

I would like to ask you if you could help me out with a piece of advise about how could I rebuild attraction without him realizing what I am doing? He knows my tricks and methods, so I would need new ones but don’t have a clue what should I do to charm him but still be myself. I would like to build up at least a little bit of attraction till March, as I will be in his town for a week, and I know that that week will be decisive in what will happen next. Could you please give me some examples or a direction how should I approach him in a romantic way without scaring him?

Be the person he fell in love with. While spending time with your ex as friends, give him reasons to remember all of the things he loves about you. Accentuate the traits you know he loves, like your sense of humor or your empathy.[7]

It will allow you to move in the same circle without any tension. This will give you a chance to be in each other’s world without the added on pressure of being in a relationship. Being friends with your ex can be the first step to patching things up.

If you dig deeper, you will find many things that make you uncomfortable with your ex. However, you keep on ignoring them thinking it wasn’t worth getting into an argument over. By ignoring these small things, you have allowed them to become a full-blown breakup.

It is important that after bring some improvements you must contact her. Contact her two or three weeks after you have send the message to her about breakup. Your approach should be just a simple text where you can share one of the happiest moments you have had together. This can be anything, for example your first date or any vacations which was a memorable part in both your life. You can say that yesterday you went to the particular place where you had gone on your first date. With this strategy start with texting for some weeks and one day ask her to hangout with you at some place. Slowly and gradually make more meetings and finally you will be able to make her fall in love with you again.

2) A GF may be the last thing you need. Right now, with where you’re at, you need to reflect a bit and work on YOU. You’re probably still a great guy, you just need time to regroup, gain your strength, clarity and stability back – and frankly by the time you do this, you may not even want the same girl anymore. Once you do, you’ll be able to provide a girl with REAL value, and that’s like a drug to a high-quality woman!

Hey guys i really need help. Me and our gf have gone through a breakup its not the first time this would be the third time. But i do not know if this one is serious. She said shes too young for a relationship she just wants to be single an live life. She does not want a bf. weve been together for 2 and a half years. I took her birginity and she took mine. But i dont want to lose her im desperate to have her back. I waited a couple of weeks then started speaking to her again. We caught up a couple of times just as friends. But even then she doesnt txt me unless i txt her. And when she replies its only short words. She actually got angry coz i went out with a few mates drinking and she asked if i hooked up with another girl. So that msg to me feels like she still cares for me but doesnt want a relationship. I snapped last night and txtd her and askes if she ever misses us. She said i dont think it can work anymore i just want to live life on my own. People are saying find someone new she was your first love. But the thing is i dont want to. We shared so many good times together. It was always me and her. She was me to a tea i couldnt see myself with anyone else but her. Shes the girl i want to spend the rest of my life with. I need this girl back so bad its not funny.

Give your new relationship a fresh start. If you’re lucky enough that your girl wants to give it another go, then you should try to start fresh as much as you can. Though you can go back to enjoying some of the same restaurants, TV shows, and things that you loved together, it’s important to pick some new activities and relationship strategies so your relationship doesn’t feel like another version of your former dating experience.

A little over a year and a half ago, I wrote an article on here called “The Ultimate Guide on How to Get a Girl Back.” It fairly quickly became one of the more popular articles on the site, as getting girls back whose interest you’ve lost tends to be a common thing a great many men are all trying to figure out.

I would like to congratulate you if you make it to this step without contacting your ex. However, if you contact your ex in between or you skip the other steps then I would strongly suggest you to start from the first step again as above three steps are very crucial for your success in getting your ex-girlfriend or ex-boyfriend back.

I want you to take a good hard look at all of the alpha male qualities on this page. While some of the qualities are certainly more important than others to women no one quality will be enough to win back your ex girlfriend.

This ability to talk collaboratively, without criticism, blame or demands for change, is probably what accounts for the statistics that say that most couples who remain married over time become increasingly happy with their partnership.

You put your self-worth, your happiness, your dreams and your entire life on the back burner just so you could be with your ex. Sometimes, people do it just to hold on to the possibility of being with their ex in the future. It’s a direct consequence of begging and pleading. It makes your ex think “Well, if you are that desperate to be with me, then you must accept everything that I want.”

Man I really need some help. My girlfriend and I just broke up after seven ears and I don’t feel right. I want it all to work out and so did she but now she is saying we are done and not together. We thought giving each other a month would work. But I fucked it up, I think by trying to see her. I know I shouldn’t see or talk to her. It’s just pretty hard not to. I know I need to work on myself but I want us to work so badly. People do say if it was meant to be it will work. I’m just scared because I don’t want her to see other people. What to do about this? What can I do to actually make this work again?

There is a tremendous sense of loss your girlfriend feels after dumping you. Because even though she’s the one who ended things between you, she also had to cut a big portion of her life away by making the decision to let you go.

The two main pieces of advice I would give for someone who is about to enter the texting phase would be to tell them to A) Keep your emotional cool; and B) Keep the topics to things your ex is interested in, and therefore, more likely to respond to.

Now what we have seen in public relations is that the over anxiety and fast running of the individuals tend to break the relationships again and again. Yes, that’s true. If you are hasty and have not learned from the past, you may break your relationship again. It may not work out for you again. So it is in better interest of yours to hold down for a second and think that whether you are prepared to get back in that relationship again? Or are you doing everything in haste again?

My girlfriend and I broke up a month and a half ago, we were talking frequently until 3 weeks ago when she moved to Portland, OR (we lived in California together). Last week she started dating another guy and I freaked out, text her (nothing mean) said “wow, that was fast” she got extremely pissed and blocked my number and Facebook. Do I still have a chance at getting her back? I made a lot of mistakes after the breakup, begging to come back to her, argued a couple times, freaked about her dating. I wrote her 2 letters but didn’t send either one yet. One is a love letter and the other is an apology letting her know I accept the breakup and wish her the best.

It’s crucial for you to realize that when it comes to getting an ex-girlfriend back there’s not 1 but 5 different approaches. If you choose to use the wrong one (or worse… one that’s tailored to women) you could end up losing her forever.

It’s a short report that outlines the 6 things that every guy must know about getting a girl back. Simply enter your First name and Email address below, click on the ‘Send My Report’ button, and it will arrive in your inbox when you’re done reading this letter:

There is a reason she gave you her heart. She never wanted it to be ripped away from yours like a scab over a half healed welt. She chose you coz she loved you. She took those steps with you coz she wanted to move ahead. She wanted to build a future with you and she was investing her heart, body, and soul in it. But then, she ‘couldn’t do it anymore’ because she didn’t see a way to make that investment yield returns. She tried to explain, told you she was unhappy but she probably didn’t FEEL that she was being heard or understood. And when she felt emotionally drained, she gave up the trudge on the apparent one-way street! Now this may not be your case, or may only hold true partially – but that’s no reason to despair! The point is, women give up when they cannot bear the disinterested stance of on-going non-commitment. It is important for you to pin down what the specific reasons for your breakup were and understand it from her perspective. Her chants of ‘I don’t feel the love anymore,’ or ‘it’s over,’ or even ‘I’m seeing someone else,’ can merely be coping mechanisms! Well, just remember there’s a 50% chance they may not be.

SIDE NOTE: You may feel as if I am really grilling your approach to relationships here, but as I said, there’s a positive purpose to it. You need to see what went wrong so that when you apply my how to win your ex back steps, you won’t be sabotaging the effectiveness of those steps by behaving in ways that got you dumped to begin with.

It has got to a point now that I have told my girlfriend that we need to have a break so I can sort myself out. She has moved out and I do miss her a lot. However, as my ex is in a bad place at the moment, too, I have promised her I am going to go and see her so we can talk. I just don’t know what to do. I feel I should talk to her and it would give me the opportunity to see exactly if there is anything there. The space away from my girlfriend, I hope, would make me realise that she is the one for me and come back to her in a happier place where I feel I can be happy and give 100%.

My bf and I were together for a year and a half.. What basically broke us up was I got injured and was unable to walk so I had to have surgery and I was also put on hormones which made me feel insanely depressed.. Since I couldn’t walk, I couldn’t go see friends or family and for 3 months while I was recovering, the only person I really saw was him, so when he’d leave to go to work I would cry because I know that I would be alone for 10 hours.. things just got worse from there.. since I couldn’t move, I just stayed on bed-rest, so he’d want to go do stuff, but I couldn’t and he would stay, but I knew it bothered him because before I got hurt we would always go places and do things. Then I started to get really insecure, because who wants to sit at home with their partner when all they do is cry and lay in bed? So I started telling him he was going to end up cheating on me (because there was this girl at work that really wanted him, even though she already had a bf).. Eventually all we did was fight and I’d cry, but finally I started to get better and was able to walk around more, but the damage was done. He ended up cheating on me and then he left me for the girl he cheated on me with. They moved in after only a week of being together, but he would call me the second that he would drop her off at work so that we could hang out (I never made a move on him while he was with her, because I feel that it’s wrong, even though she did it to me) They are still together after 8 months, but he seems miserable.. I sent him a picture of our dog we had and a sign saying “happy birthday” and she freaked out on him. She is insanely jealous and he isn’t allowed to talk to other girls, even girls at work. He is their manager and the girls will talk to him and he will tell me how his girlfriend will freak out, even though he didn’t do anything wrong.. she once gauged out pictures of a girl where they work just because she was his friend. We were both there for each other and we became each others best friends, I can tell that our friendship is stronger now then how it was when we were together. I finally told him I love him still and that I want to be with him and he told me that he won’t date me.. he said there were too many problems in our relationship and he thought we didn’t work well together, but I am his best friend and he cares so much about me and doesn’t want to lose me because I am the only one he can count on and the only one who listens to him. I feel like he is just looking at the end of our relationship when things were bad. I think our relationship wasn’t given a fair shot.. we started dating a few months after my best friend and mother died and then I became injured and sick, now I am better and have matured and understand how I was insecure and didn’t handle my emotions well and I am off of the hormones, so I feel like myself again. How do I get him to remember the amazing times? If I’m his best friend and he’s attracted to me, why wouldn’t he date me? I hate my situation so much because all I want is for him to be happy, but it’s so hard watching him be with this other girl because she treats him bad.. so do I just stop talking to him and lose my best friend?

Me and my ex were together for 4 and a half months. She mentioned a while ago when a guy messaged her that they had a thing before me and her but she assured me that it was the past. Apparently not. She broke up with me because I don’t have a job and I’m apparently lazy. I smoke cigarettes and weed and I am forcing myself to quit these things and I feel like its the only chance of getting her back. Ive also been looking suuuper hard.for a job, but it isnt easy when youre17. This guy that she had a thing with before us is now going all out to try and snatch her up. She broke up with me a week ago and I got information from her friend that she has already gone out on 2 dates with him… that hit me like a train. As soon as I heard that I bursted into tears. She seems like the type to come back after a while but im just not sure because she mentioned that she just doesnt feel the same way about me as she did before, the “butterflies” are missing. I will do anything in my power to get her back because what i dont think she realises is that I am the one who actually cares about her and loves her and this other guy just wants sex. I am way too attatched to this girl and she has such a huge part of my heart and its killing me that she left me so suddenly. 🙁 I REALLY need your help…

My girlfriend broke up with me after 4 years due to me being controlling and clingy. Told me the night of the breakup that she loved me, but wasn’t in love with me anymore. We talked every so often afterwards until I figured out I was actually making things worse and proceeded with NC for 25 days. We’re long distance so it’s a bit easier than others. We had plans to meet up when I came home to visit family for thanksgiving and talk, and we did meet up but we hardly talked. She said it was too soon and didn’t want our emotions to get the better of us. I was a bit mad, because I waited almost an hour. We spoke on the phone afterwards and got into an argument about what happened and both said some mean things.

This conversation took place a week ago and I have seen him twice since then just to hang out really at our house and have been in contact by text every day. He today told me that he is going to be moving closer to his work and moving in with a colleague which means an hour’s drive away from me.

The best thing you can do to earn her respect back and more importantly your own respect and stop contacting her everyday. I know it’s tough for you right now especially because you work in the same company. Still, constantly texting her, trying to talk to her friends or begging and pleading with her to take you back is desperate and needy behavior and she has no choice but to distant herself from you.

It is natural to feel scared about going up to someone who has rejected you. You may be worried that he won’t talk to you, won’t be friendly and perhaps won’t answer any questions you may have. All of this is natural and normal. If you really want to approach him to ask him something, consider going with a friend you can rely on and perhaps having them doing some of the talking on your behalf. Choose somewhere neutral and calm, and have a good excuse to leave quickly if things seem too awkward for you, such as “Thanks for the quick chat, I have to get to an appointment now”. Most of all, realize that if you don’t get the answers or discussion you’d hoped for, that it’s not a reflection on you, as you’ve shown much courage, but is about your ex-boyfriend’s method of dealing with the situation in his own way and isn’t a slur on you.

Remember when your ex left you? They thought of you as a needy, clingy and desperate person with little to no self-respect. After not being in contact with you for a while, they must be wondering what the heck happened to you. They will slowly start to forget that image of yours (the needy desperate one) and start remembering the things they liked about you. They will start remembering the things that they found attractive in you.

If she was the one who ended things, then you will have more of a challenge on your hands. Think about all of the reasons she ended it; if she ended it abruptly, look through old emails or texts to see if you can pinpoint the problem.
