The fact is… when men don’t feel like they’re “winning” at life or that life is good, they want to shrink away and withdraw from the world.  Men want to mentally work out whatever is bothering them, solve it, and then they’ll re-emerge, ready to conquer the world.

hi i just lost my bf 1week after 3 years (. he was all sort of bad boyfriend) but i still fell in love with him and still is havibg problems dealing with the breakup . i dnt knw on which no . im in but im having swing moods sometimes i accept nd i move on nd sometimes i don’t i think im going crazy … and this weeknd im having a trip and its the first time im on my own … but i want him to tell me bon voyage ! ?

Be specific about what you are sorry for. Instead of saying, “I’m sorry for hurting you,” say, “I’m sorry for not returning your calls.” This will help convince him that you have genuinely put some thought into the things you have to be sorry for.

The truth is, you broke up for valid reasons. If he mentions those reasons, don’t dispute them. Have the courage to hear the truth in what he’s saying, acknowledge it and apologize for it. It’s better to be happy and loved than to be right about everything.

Another way you can become person of higher value is by dressing good without look like you are trying. When you go out then try to dress a little bit more but don’t try hard about it. Nothing is as much lower value as dressing yourself to make your ex boyfriend jealous.

I have been thinking about what to text him. Not sure about that white lie I mentioned earlier. It was something to do with a video game he likes. I am stressing what if he won’t reply. Well.. I should stop over analyzing and worrying makes me feel even worse.

This is not only for the sake of enjoyment but to make sure that the boyfriend you had known you are not sad or gloomy. You are not thinking about him like a dog who follows his owner. You are not greedy nor you are over tempted to have him. Rather you are now free to do whatever you wanted to do for the last couple of years.

Keep the conversation light and enjoyable, and try to steer it away from anything too heavy and emotional. Keep it short. For one, he will come to want more of your time and attention when he doesn’t have it, but it will also help you keep a clear and objective mind.

This dream is the reason you are not over him yet and won’t be any time soon. Unless you let go of that, you won’t be able to truly grieve and move on. But I know it’s hard since all the signs and everyone around you is saying that it will happen. 6 months is a long time. Have you asked yourself how long are you willing to wait for him?

I am going through a hard time with a very you g boyfriend. 9 years younger. And i have been crying and texting him and the last i did was called him. He said he was busy playing game and hung up on me when i ask if he still wants us.

Re-frame your processing of the breakup as something that generally trends upwards and you won’t be as taken aback by the down days (when you see something that reminds you of your ex, smell their perfume on someone, etc.).

Avoiding contact is not just a passive-aggressive way to make your ex miss you. It gives you time to do the things you need to do to prepare yourself for a new relationship (whether it’s with your ex or someone new!). Take time during this month to get to know yourself as an individual and to work on areas that you may have let slip during your relationship with your ex. If you contributed to the breakup, this is the time to pinpoint your relationship weaknesses and do the hard work to improve as a human being.

It’s been 3 months since the divorce, we’ve not contacted one another but I feel so lost. I’m trying to forget. I know it will take time but I’m finding really hard to accept the way I’ve been treated. I didn’t deserve this ill treatment.

There is no doubt in my mind that nothing (and I mean nothing) affects you as emotionally as a breakup. Ex Boyfriend Recovery is fast becoming known as one of the most insightful websites online teaching women how to get their ex boyfriends back. However, sometimes there are certain situations that are impossible to fix. As unfortunate as that may be I think it is important to remember that no matter how you are feeling right now there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Don’t worry though, I am not going to make you find that light all on your own.

Since she has felt this way, you could slowly warm back up to her. However, I would suggest continuing with NC because it may be too soon for changes to have occurred in both your lives, so if you guys get back together, the same issue might eventually surface again.

For instance, in the future when he was traveling for business and staying alone in hotels he would plan ahead what to do in the evenings: phone his wife, work on his computer, read, watch his favorite TV shows.  He would NOT go to the hotel bar. If he met people in the lobby, if the acquaintances were women he would speak with them briefly and then say goodbye.  He would go out to dinner only with men friends.  If women joined them, he would not engage in one-on-one conversations with them. Alcohol, private time with women plus loneliness and a disconnected relationship with his wife had been a dangerous combination for him.

Think about it.. How would it be if someone told you exactly what to say and what to do, Someone who has helped thousands of girls like you to turn their breakup around.. Wouldn’t that be exactly what you need right now?

The other theory, is that people use to linger more because of the lack of sex and the physical attraction. People use to confuse physical attraction with love. And this can be very depressing and harmful for both sides.

And… I think it’s useful for people to understand that their mood directly affects the quality of their relationships. To be clear, though, I’m definitely not advocating forcing a good mood to impress guys… that would be silly.
