Your answers reveal an interesting truth that you two probably had a really good foundation for a relationship. But there was something that got in the way. Perhaps it was timing and you met when one of you was straight out of another relationship. Or one of you was working for a promotion and didn’t have time to invest in dating.

Well, since January would have been some time since your last contact with her, you could always drop her a casual text to ask her how her New Year has been and see how she responds from there. If she doesn’t respond positively, it might really do you justice and a big favor to walk away from this, and focus on moving on.

Yes, you pushed him, but on the other hand, he used you! Let’s make things clear for a second, I am a guy and he is too, we get sexually frustrated and we don’t know what’s taking us, so we may say things and do things we don’t really mean, a word of advice, leave him be, don’t call hi, don’t text him and if he’s going to attend a social gathering, then, don’t go!

Personally, it’s been quite a long while. It may be worth a shot to try contacting her once more and you could be honest and explain the situation back then and apologize for it, then see if she’s willing to still stay friends.

You are wrong in thinking that the purpose of no contact is to remind your ex of the good times. In fact, no contact rule has very little to do with your ex. It has everything to do with you. Its for you to give yourself some time and space so you can work on becoming a better version of yourself.

The main thing you are trying to do with “remembering the good times” is to get them to think about the most positive aspects of your previous relationship. This means that you are going to have to be as positive as you possibly can.

I have a person that will do all things for you he is good in all this if you want to get your ex or you want your husband to love you more than anything.I will link you to somebody that will do it for you in less than no time

“In this part, I will need to know more about the basics of your past relationship, life and what you believe about relationships in general. This will help determine the overall category that your breakup fits in.”

I would add one additional observation, backed up by research findings. When couples have strong skills for talking cooperatively over differences, they find collaborative solutions to “those annoyng little ticks.” Often the solution comes just from more understanding of each other; sometimes small changes that each are glad to make also help enormously.

I still love him but it’s complicated. Him and his other ex are like on and off or whatever and he doesn’t want to be with me because he thinks I’m perfect and that I deserve more than him when really the only thing I need is him. Our bond is strong and we can trust each other, wish I can be with him. 🙁

So, the big take away that I want you to get from this section is that your ultimate goal assuming this process works for you is that you are discarding your old relationship and creating a new one that is stronger.

My girlfriend and I were together for a year and 2 months and she kept repeating, daily, that this is the best thing in her life, and we’re meant together. We are very close. I’ve personally never known a person I want to be with more than her, and she expressed the same in visits, writing letters, and texts. Around Christmas, while she was staying with her family (she lives in the adjacent country but we travel constantly to see each other), and after a small discussion about where she might get a job and where we would live together, she turned completely and said (on new year’s eve) she can’t do a relationship anymore, she wants to be alone, that she’s a toxic person to me (she isn’t), and never wants a relationship again, ever, with anyone. She did not explain the details why making such a heavy decision, she said she feels inadequate, and that I shouldn’t contact her any more if I want her to stay. I am very confused. Now it’s been twenty days since we last had any contact and it’s killing me, I miss her and I wish we could talk. I have no idea what to do.

Peter also switched from “awfulizing” about his work situation from a stance of helpless victim to taking a problem-solving stance. What could he do to find a more positive work situation? He began networking with others in his field, stumbled on a job that sounded far more suitable, applied, and at this point is looking likely to get the position.

This is another legitimate reason for a breakup. Unfortunately, in my personal opinion it says more about of his lack of character (unless you were really boring but I doubt that) than anything you actually did. Luckily, seeming boring is quite easy to fix!

Basically, the no contact period should be as long as it takes you to get yourself together and feel great about your life without your ex. In my experience, it can take up to 30 days. However, in extreme cases, it could range from anywhere from 2 months to 6 months.

The quiz has been thoroughly tested and fine-tuned, so if you answer all questions honestly, the results should prove helpful. (This is not a scientific tool, though, and accuracy is not guaranteed. Please use this quiz for entertainment purposes only.)

In this case, should i inform her that I would not contact her for a while, or still answer her calls but keep the conversation to general topics and avoid getting to serious topics? Or should I just ignore her (and might push her more away)?

Purpose 3: To let them know of something exciting that is happening in your life. Don’t reveal too much here. Just tell them something good is happening in your life. You’d love to talk about it, but not now. Because you both need some space and time.

Hi thanks for the great advice! Also it’s hard with the NC rule due to we work together. Just today I talked with her for the first time in 4 days only because I have to at work. Although I said hello and merry Christmas, it was still strictly only work related . She was very dry with me even though it was only work related. [otp_overlay]
