My first time ever asking for advice but here goes, I was with my ex bf for 2 1/2 years plus we did live together. We were a bit of opposites attract but I really loved him and he treated me well. We did once breakup while only dating for 3 months when the puppy love phase settled down and we really started to get to know each other. Somehow we gave it another shot because he’s like my best friend and when we had good time we really had good times, plus him and I were less selfish as well. But then hitting our 2 years we hit a bump in the relationship. He wanted to change his career from an office job to become a firefighter, which I totally supported him on this. He was working 2 jobs his 9 to 5 and then bouncing at a nightclub. It was rather tough cuz we barely spent time together, then he got another 2 job instead of bouncing which wasn’t bad cuz we did spent time together. He did have an issue with me about trying to better my career choice and that I should go to school again, I do want to be in the beauty industry and he supports it, but cosmetology school is very expensive at where I live. Times I’ve had arguments because he hated that I kept doubting myself, plus he did not get along with my father at all. My fathers a tough man to deal with but it had a bit of strain on our relationship. Now he’s been traveling allot for taking written and physical exams for the fire depart. He’s going to school to get his EMT certification and he let go of his 2 job. Problems arose when I lost my job and I was waitressing at the time, so we then had financial issues. I did get a job but the hours were not that great so with my part time gig and his office job income, we didn’t do much of dating like we did before we were on a tight budget, and arguments always arose from this, but we somehow try to make it work. Then what was worse my sister knew I was having problems with my bf so she’s close friends with one of my past ex bf , well he wanted to get me back. I did have love for him and I got attention from him that my bf wasn’t giving me, so I’d press my bf with arguments about when I’d be engaged, finances, my current situation with my job, if I wanted to go to school or not.. 3 months of arguing 1 to 2 days of the week was daring plus I did not want to cheat on him with my other ex bf. we kept trying to make it work but he came to the conclusion that it was best to part ways, he felt that as a bf he wasn’t doing his job to give me that attention and that at the moment I’m 2 priority in his life, I just simply agreed like ok fine no problem, things happen for a reason. We ended amicable, but because I was gonna be with another man. Worst mistake I’ve done in my life to go from one relationship to another! I still loved my bf and the new guy I was getting nothing but irritated so I left him for good. I called my ex trying to get back with him, he said look I love you but we are in diffrent paths of our lives right now, and my priority is to get my career straight, I won’t have time for you or another woman for that matter, it’s better this way. I felt soo down and I’m just really down about this situation. Only time he last spoke to me was to say happy thanksgiving after that I haven’t heard from him since. 3 days then I sent a pic of our dog and he said thank you and that’s all. I want him back I want to make it work but I don’t know if I should fully do the no contact for maybe 3 or 4 months and then get in touch? How do I try to rekindle our relationship back?
What about evidence that my theories represent reality? If you’ve been using many of those behaviors I asked you about in the questions above, and you also got dumped, then the fact that both happened in your own life, and that I was able to call both out despite the fact I’ve never met you – that should be all the evidence you need.

The best way to understand what your vibe is and what it does for you is to use an example from your own life. Think about a friend you’ve known, either now or in the past, who just can’t help being negative.
It can be very difficult to move forward, but as time rolls on, too much motivation and energy will be stuck in the past and will hinder you from achieving the great things that you were made to do. Relationships are a big part of our lives, and something that many people are continuously seeking. But you can’t let them hold you back. Hanging on will only drag on further pain and suffering. Instead, you must look at yourself and say “I am determined to move forward from this”. Sometimes it’s hard to leave the big things in life behind, but you must seek out your bigger and brighter future.
Am giving this testimony because someone out there may have similar problem My Husband doesn’t think polygamy is wrong. He has been seeing another girl for about five months now. I told him that he needs to stop, but he says he is in love with her. They’ve talked about being together “forever” and eventually her moving in with us. My husband still loves me. He regrets getting into this in the first place, but is not willing to just break up with her. He says if they so break up then thy will be it and he will not pursue another relationship. I contacted Prophet Miracle a spell caster who cast a 3 days spell for me surprisingly my husband came home on his knees begging me to forgive him that he has broke up with his mistress all thanks to Prophet Miracle I pray that God will continue to use you to help people. Friends don’t die in silent because someone like Prophet Miracle has a solution to your problem i am living happily with my family. Contact him via his email address firstname.lastname@example.org
Because our mind is trying to heal our heart, the painful memories often get shifted to the background and we find ourselves remembering and longing for the good times. We forget who the person really was and idealize who we wanted them to be. A good strategy for getting past these moments is to simply write down every painful thing you can remember happening during the relationship and read it over to yourself while making the effort to vividly recall those memories until the painful feelings subside. The point here isn’t to stay angry, but to remember the full truth of why the relationship ended. Eventually, letting go of these events will be an important part of the forgiveness and healing process, but in order to let go of something you must first acknowledge and accept that it happened.
I just want to say that your advice is fabulous. This is exactly all the things i needed to hear at the right moment. Im going through a break up and although it is a grief process, i know, i really have been trying to use it as a time to reflect on myself and the situation. #4, 8,9, all greatly resonated with me.
We’ve all been there. It is a post-breakup haze that can drown out all reasonability; a voice in your head telling you to text your ex at 3 in the morning to tell him how much you miss him, because surely that is how to win him back.
Yes, now I know that I had feelings in it. I was picking up fights because I was afraid of them. That is why I want to start it again with feelings and without fears. I wanna give it a chance. Yesterday I wrote him: I written down what I have learnt about myself during the relationship but I did not mentioned that I wanted him back or anything similar. He read it in a minute but no answer. I was not surprised. (Basically I was surprised because he read it immediately.)As for no contact rule, I feel our relationship was different: I was not clingy. Not that was the problem, quite the opposite. I feel I have to give him a way to communicate. Or am I wrong?
My ex had consistently chased me for 6 years throughout the whole of school and after, we were always really close friends and i was always too afraid to progress further incase that friendship got ruined. Even in his one other long term relationship he admitted to still always wanting to be with me and even throughout the good times with his ex he still imagined doing those things with me instead. Then after going through a hard time with a previous ex myself and having him support me we began to get close again and eventually ended up starting a relationship. And while at first i was slightly unsure about it, it quickly became clear it was the best decision i’d ever made, he was so madly in love with me and for the first time i felt so confident that someone felt like the luckiest person alive to be with me. He absolutely adored me and treated me like a queen. 2 and a half years later, and only just coming back off a wonderful week long holiday together with his family.. out of the blue, it’s over. Seeming in a bit of a bad mood one day i asked him if he was okay or if i’d done something and got the ‘we need to talk’ text. My stomach immediately dropped and i felt sick, but didn’t want to jump to conclusions and assume the worst. He came over that evening and told me he thought things had changed and that for weeks he’d had this feeling of that ‘sometimes’ he just wants to be my friend. Sometimes?! Even though that morning he’d commented on how it was our anniversary and 2 days previously we had even been on a date night where he’d complained because i had red lipstick on meaning he couldn’t kiss me and asked me to sit next to him in the bar instead of opposite him so he could put his arm around me, not really ‘i just want to be your friend behaviour’ right?

We met at age 14, had a child (who passed)after birth, we both married others, had great lives and children, got divorced and met again, and married after almost 10 years of the most sincerely satisfying, loving, chemical, and tumultuous love I will ever know.
I have a theory about this: when we end a relation ship with someone, we may experience a dreadful feeling due to the lack of serotonin discharges by the brain when hugging, kissing or having sex (or just being with the once special person). And I see this just like a withdrawal of a drug addiction. Which in fact, is a drug processed by the brain.
It’s a risk we take whenever we put our heart out there. Sometimes, someone loves us more than we love them. Sometimes the other way around. It’s quite the crapshoot to get it just right. That’s why when it works, it’s so celebrated and valued..it’s not a guaranteed thing, and the stakes are dang high. Hug to you.
You should hang out with friends, lose yourself in an activity, … Anything that could take your mind of of him, because thinking about something often will only make you think about it more, until you start to ruminate. If this is too hard, or is working in reverse, another way is to grant yourself half an hour of thoroughly thinking about him (per day/per 12hours/…) After those 30min., you prohibit yourself of thinking about him for the rest of the time.
Staying at home, watching TV and checking out your ex boyfriend’s Facebook profile won’t help. Distract yourself. Get out of the house as often as you can. Don’t hang out in places that remind you of him.
Then enumerate all of your good qualities, those qualities that make you special and worth a second shot in love. Make a list of your 100 best qualities. Don’t stop until you reach 100! Having these things written down will help you convince yourself that you’ve made the right decision.

He broke up with me over a month ago and i am still upset. I know he is not seeing anyone else and he knows i’m not either. When we broke up he told me he wants to be happy (he’s very depressed). He told me that he loves me way more than i love him and it’s just difficult to deal with that because i think that 2 people who love each other should be with together. we have been texting and it’s either very short or very long and we also have our location on for each other. we were together for almost 15 months and i see a future with him and he is fully aware that i would do anything to have him back. i want to see him so badly but i don’t think he wants to see me. He’s going through a lot of stuff like depression and he gets lost in his thoughts and this caused him to think i was cheating or lying to him or that i didn’t love him. I think cheating is disgusting and i’d never lie to him. He also can’t get over certain things…. such as him not being my first sexual partner which bothers me because i am a year older than him and it just bothers me that he doesn’t understand. all i want is for him to be happy but i also want him to be happy with me and i am so stuck. i asked him if he would ever come back and he said he doesn’t know. everyone keeps telling me to focus on myself and i can’t because i’m only focused on him and i really have hopes that we will get back together.
A first out-of-bounds behavior is one thing. If the mistake is corrected and not repeated ever again that is a positive development and can result in continuation of a better-than-ever marriage. Continued deal-breaker behaviors however, I agree, are invitations to divorce.

After being in relationship with Harry for Five years, he broke up with me, I did everything possible to bring him back but all was in vain, I wanted him back so much because of the love I have for him, I begged him with everything, I made promises but he refused. I explained my problem to someone online and she suggested that I should rather contact a spell caster that could help me cast a spell to bring him back but I am the type that never believed in spell, I had no choice than to try it, I mailed the spell caster, and he told me there was no problem that everything will be okay before three days, that my ex will return to me before three days, he cast the spell and surprisingly in the second day, it was around 4pm. My ex called me, I was so surprised, I answered the call and all he said was that he was so sorry for everything that happened, that he wanted me to return to him, that he loves me so much. I was so happy and went to him, that was how we started living together happily again. Since then, I have made promise that anybody I know that have a relationship problem, I would be of help to such person by referring him or her to the only real and powerful spell caster who helped me with my own problem and who is different from all the fake ones out there. You’ve made mistakes in your life. Of course you have – we all have. But what do you do when you make mistakes? Do you grieve and pity yourself, locking yourself in your bedroom and hiding away from the world?

The first few days of a breakup seem impossible to move on from, but by month three you’ll probably forget why you were so upset over someone who was hardly worth a second of your time. Hi guys, great article. How about if this is not a rebound? My ex and I broke up two years ago, I left him. For over a year he tried to get me back, but we fought because he always did it while dating other women. We both cried a lot during this time, and in January I asked him to go no contact. He then started dating this woman and February! And have been together since. That’s 8 months now, and, after not seeing him for 7 months, I found them at a park where we had released a memorial for a baby with lost. It was a huge surprise to see him there. We started emailing again, and earlier in October he asked me to do grief therapy with him. It seemed very strange to do it almost 2 years after the breakup. We have had three sessions, to have been incredibly emotional, with crying from both of us, with his long-term therapist. But it seems to be couples therapy more than grief. And afterwards, he always wants to have a couple drinks and talk some more. During this times he just stares at me and cries more. I asked him if he loves his new girlfriend, to which he said he does and looks down to the floor when he mentions it however, he writes and tells me that things are not the same, and that there are very specific things he’s missing about us. And he wonders if he will ever be able to love like that again. I know the new girlfriend is a very powerful woman, and Rich, and everything in her CV is what he had professionally longed-for. I don’t know how to bridge my emerging feelings, and have requested to stop therapy. I know they fight because she doesn’t agree with the therapy, obviously, but, he really wants to continue doing it. He also says that he loves me still. I don’t think she’s a rebound. Is she? And, what can I do to turn this around? Thank you for all your help!
