I saw many boys who change their opinions, likes, dislikes, hobbies, style etc just to impress his girlfriend. They think by doing so their girlfriends will like them that is completely wrong concept.
There are many men and women who are frustrated tend to dump threats to their ex. The sentence starts with something like, “If you don’t come back to me then I will…” – and sentence ends with grave promise to do something to self or to the other. This is the heavy form of emotional blackmailing that triggers feelings of angry, guilt and fear.
If you want him or her to take you back, then you need to change that… you need to make sure that they think about you in the same way they did when your relationship began, when things were amazing and you were madly in love. If your ex were to feel that way about you again — if thinking about you brought a smile to their face and sent a surge of attraction through their body — then he or she wouldn’t even think twice about getting back together!
I just broke up with my girlfriend today and it’s all because of me. She said I was being harsh and she said I don’t love her when I actually do love her soo badly. And she said she cant handle me anymore. Can you help me solve my problem and help me to get her back.
I have been with my boyfriend for almost 6 years, and i broke up with him Because i felt that he is cold at me for almost a week he didn’t want to text me and even during our anniversary he don’t provide same effort to see me or text me I thought he never love me anymore. Within those 9 months we broke up I have been in no contact rule and like what you said in your other article all the sign that he still loves me are all present. Then now he said to me he wants to go back what we have but he is confused on what he felt he said that he loves me but he want to make sure of that feeling first. that’s why I have doubt and question his love for me and I can’t see his sincerity that he really what me back. Also my feelings start to be confused. I need your advice if I should go back with him, until know it’s hard for me to list my pros and cons of getting back with him. What do you think should I do?

Open, honest communication. For so many people, “to communicate” means to speak and to explain a viewpoint in an attempt to share something important. That’s partially correct. But to ensure things are discussed in a productive way, and to avoid miscommunication that can lead to future resentment and problems, listening is far more important than speaking.
Hi there I need your help. My girlfriend broke up with me about two weeks ago. We pretty much argued a lot lately and she and I both had enough. I broke up with her in aug and we got back together. We pretty much argue about the same things. One major problem being her ex (child father) he would send her explicit things and we argued about that and the fact every chance he got he was hitting on her. To me she always made excuses for him saying take couldn’t block him or stop him because they had to communicate for child. To me seemed that she like him chasing her. She said I didn’t trust her but I’ve caught her in so many lies. Another large problem was she would sometimes lie about things..I couldn’t trust her which is one reason I didn’t want her communicating with oneone else. She said I was jealous and have a bad attitude. I felt she made me have one by not respecting our relationship and by entertaining other people. Anyways.. she broke up with me recently and says we will never work.. she said I didn’t care about her health or financial issues .. but lately she has me been pushing me away.. we work together so it’s hard to avoid her. I love her and want her back. We hit a bad patch and I’m willing to change. She has been flirting openly with another Co worker which I told her was disrespectful. Also same day we broke up I found out she slept with her ex. She denied it at first until I provided proof. I’m not innocent, I did flirt with someone else in her face while we were together to show her how it feels.. she hated but that was my point. I didn’t want her to break up with me..When we first broke up I didn’t everything this website said not to do. I even I friended her in Facebook which really pissed her off and she blocked my phone#. It’s only been 2 1/2 days since I’ve done the no contact things.. it’s driving me crazy and I can’t tell where her head is. I feel like I should be chasing her. Is this too far gone? Can I get her back?? So I leave it alone? It’s driving me crazy not being with her and not knowing what she is doing with other people
My dad told me that, and I hate to say, but it’s true. You know that thing that annoyed you about him that made you realize you’re not compatible? He still has that. People do not change. He still likes bad Nicolas Cage movies. He still thinks that terrible taco place next to him is “a nice restaurant”; he still argues the same way. So all you can do is change socks. Aka find someone new. Life is short. You deserve to be happy and eating at a restaurant with at least an A rating.
Think as objectively as possible: does your partner really contribute to the quality of your life? And an even harder question to ask yourself: do you make their life better? Do you overvalue your ex-partner because you fear never meeting anyone else? If you answered yes to these questions, then ultimately you may – this might not be easy to hear – be better off without your ex. One woman was convinced she wanted to get her ex-boyfriend back, but as the emotional fallout settled, she found life to be better…without him. Just a thought.
Never try to intimate your ex with grave threads. If you never try to intimidate your ex with grave threads it will show you how mean, selfish and immature you are. Many men and women try to intimate their ex with grave threads but in the end they blow all their chances.
The process of getting back with an ex is not always easy. If it was you wouldn’t be doing research on the internet and you wouldn’t seek the help of relationship experts. One of the most challenging aspects of this process is the need to be self-critical and to constantly ask yourself the right questions to make sure that you act the right way and not fall into any of the pitfalls along the way.
And after about twenty pages, I understood exactly what he was talking about and how to do it. There is a way to help your ex get rid of their negative feelings, and it really does only take minutes. It has to do with a kind of “venting,” allowing them to get things off their chest. He has a seven step method that made total sense.
Listen, sure, finding some new dude may be okay for you as a bandade, but it won’t help you get your ex-boyfriend back. You should make him jealous in a smarter way. Like, he should see that there are guys mingling around you, but don’t let him see that you’ve actually found someone. Don’t post stupid, drunken-party pictures on Facebook of you making out with some random dude.
Anywho, last Tuesday (the last time that I saw him in person), he blurted out once again that he feels selfish for needing so much alone time, suddenly needing to travel (he decided on a whim to book a trip to France by himself for a week in April), not giving me “what I need” sexually (sorry to bring it up, but our “intimacy” has suffered a bit over the recent weeks – not the frequency but the quality, and yet I haven’t been upset by it one bit) – which I have already picked up on because he’s been so “in his head”, etc . He mentioned that he likes being committed to me and that he wasn’t trying to break up with me, but that sometimes it still hurts to know that his 16 year marriage has ended. I told him that I was more than fulfilled by the man he was and the way that he loved me, and that I saw all of his struggles as an opportunity for me to lend support and an escape as well as act as a symbol of the new and happy life that he gets to establish for himself on his terms. I asked him not to decide what I deserve, that it was my decision, and that I was perfectly happy. I understand completely that a man who doesn’t want to be in an unhealthy marriage anymore and who doesn’t ever want for or plan a reconciliation could still be mourning the end of that partnership, especially with three kids involved. I have always allowed for and respected that grief. That night we tried to – well you know – and it “didn’t work” (something that he’d dealt with in his marriage as well as with the two women that he dated before me and something that our openness and connection had temporarily rectified at the beginning of the relationship, but had started to become more common lately), and I do admit that I was visibly frustrated and a little quiet afterward because I knew that there was something on his mind and it frustrated me to know that. Things were a bit “awkward” going to sleep. The next morning, we parted ways with an “I’ll miss you” from him, and things seemed alright. Thursday evening, after a normal day of talking via text (granted, I had to text him first around noon – out of the norm, and he wouldn’t respond for a couple of hours – out of the norm as well) he sent me a message at 8:00pm that said “Hi you. You deserve to know that I’m going dark for the rest of the night, no phone or text. I’m okay, know that. I just don’t want you to worry. I have unresolved issues that I have to sort out…I’m sorry I’m so broken :. I am not with anyone or doing anything specific, it’s not about that. Just me being alone with my thoughts. I’ll text you tomorrow, hope you’re having a good night!” I texted back the most calm, objective, supportive, understanding, and mature message that I could, and then proceeded to panic. I have been living on cucumbers, hot tea, and cigarettes ever since. I felt in my gut that something was seriously not right. The next day he texted me once at 9:30pm with “Hi you…sorry I’ve kind of disappeared on you, crazy day. Getting the girls in bed and I’m going to go to sleep too, I’m tired. I hope your day is going well and that you have a fun Friday night!!!”. I tried to respond as supportive and “girlfriendy” as I could, all the while breaking apart inside. We didn’t speak all of yesterday (Saturday) or today until I finally bit the bullet in the evening and sent him an email (trying to still give him space) saying “Thinking of you and wishing you four a wonderful weekend, xo K”. I got an email a half hour later that said “Hi you, so sorry that I’ve dropped off of the planet, girls and I had a busy weekend. I’m hoping that we can see each other sometime tomorrow, maybe lunch or afternoon time?” (No I love you or I miss you since Tuesday, for the record)
My boyfriend and I got into a fight. He got arrested and charged. I understand that he’s very upset about that. I’m upset about it too. He moved some of his stuff out and staying at his mom’s house. He has depression really bad and now his even more depressed. I didn’t want him home until I knew it was safe for him to come home. We both said we are together but just taking a breather. He is so depressed that he quit his job, drinking and being neglectful. We will text great one day and talked about our issues. Everything seems great then the next day nothing. I picked him up one night he was shaking and have lost a lot of weight (it’s only been 2 weeks). We had a great night. The next more he got upset thinking that my kids didn’t want him around they are happy without him. My kids are really confused right now. I got him to eat and shower ect. Took him back to his mom ( not wanting to). We texted and I admit to my faults and mean it. He said he forgives me bit I broke him for what I said when I was angry and I said the same to him. But deep down I knew he was only mad but longer he stays away I’m starting to believe what he says. Now the next day no answer.. I know he has low self esteem issues and depression. He won’t take his name of the lease agreement and tells me he’s coming back. I’m starting to believe he’s playing games even though he’s not the type but being around his family he might have changed.. How long should I wait before shutting his phone off and car insurance. I’m not sure if he wants to be together or not. HELP PLEASE!!!
News flash! Same person. You will get back together, and the honeymoon stage will last for 2.5 seconds before you both realize even the bedroom looks the same. If it was not working for you before, it’s not going to work for you now. Sex is the one thing you share with your significant other that you do not share with anyone else in your life. Make it a priority on your list.
So if your relationship with her stayed the same after 6 months or after a year (in other words if it failed to evolve and grow) then it would have violated her desire for progression. It would have made her realize that you are not the guy who’s going to give her a long-term partnership and finally a family. She would then have seen you as a poor suitor, dumped you and gone off to find a guy who shows more signs of commitment.
I know this can be incredibly difficult. I advise you to reset this relationship completely. You will need to show your ex that you have taken some time to reflect and change some things that happened in the relationship that set the two of you apart. I believe this may help with your situation. https://www.withmyexagain.com/audio-ressources/
There’s something magical about putting thoughts on paper the old school way; with a pen and paper. I often suggest to the people that I speak too during private consultations to write a letter to their ex to communicate key messages in a different way, to prove their change, to surprise their ex and to re-establish contact in an unorthodox manner.
Besides, if you feel like going back to your ex because it seems like an easy option, remember that nobody wants to be the person you settled for. It’s better to be temporarily alone and hurting in order to find your ideal partner later on, than it is to keep yourself stuck in the same old relationship that has no potential.
The final part of the Re-Kindling phase is to contact your ex. But you have to start small. Start with a simple text message — make it happy, care-free, and show them that you’re thriving and positive. Remember to avoid all negativity. Remind them why you’re so awesome!
Boyfriend who puts handcuffed to his girlfriend and don’t allow her to hang out with her friends is very unattractive. By controlling your girlfriend way too much you feel down in your deep heart and think you don’t have high value than your girlfriend.
I may do a review of the book you mention. If so I will reference your excellent comment. Thanks so much for writing in, and also for your encouraging feedback about my perspective of hope and attempts to change before writing off an abusive person.
I’ll suggest you should do limited contact for a while. And to be honest, I think your chances are pretty slim. You can do limited contact for a while, and then try building attraction once again. But if it doesn’t work, you should accept it and move on.

I first met Mary during a class project in college in 2008. I thought she was cute and bold; she shook my hand and said she knew me from a play I had acted in a year back. She thought my face looked interesting. Not handsome, just interesting. I played a meth addict.
Many people think that looking back at the past relationship is just too tortuous and a waste of time. These people believe that they can’t change their past and instead want to know things that they can fix now and get back with their ex.
Unless one problem in the relationship was your independence; you should be more independent than last time. Don’t build your social schedule around your boyfriend’s, and spend more time with friends or just doing your own thing.
We met as broken people and all we did was fight cuz I pointed out everything he did wrong ( I was scared cuz I felt he reminded me of my ex and he was still hung up on his) and he said I was a nag, till one day I woke up and felt nothing for him after great sex, but decided to just hang in there. Not sure what he felt that morning but he started pulling away, so I left him, till I contacted him one day and he said he was on a date. I completely lost all control and sanity and it was an entire weekend of fighting via text messages cuz he wouldn’t talk to me over the phone, hurt even more cuz the ex I was broken from got married that weekend. He finally called when the weekend was over but by then I was over it and didn’t pick up or read his last text message.
Try to avoid seeing him at all, even when you’re hanging out with mutual friends. If you do catch yourselves at the same party, you don’t have to be rude to him, but you shouldn’t spend too much time talking to him.
I don’t know what to do anymore, I don’t know if I have to push myself to talk to his family since that is the only way that he can forgive me (according to him). Im also thinking what is the reason why he don’t reply everytime I tell him Ill go there and talked to them. Yesterday, I didn’t even go to work just to “finish” what I have to finish, I texted him to text me the time but I did not receive any reply. Im thinking that maybe he don’t want me to confront his family because he knows that we can never be together again once I tell his family the truth. Am I right? Or theres other reason?
That’s a fair question, to be honest… but if you think about it, what most people in your situation do is actually the complete opposite of what I just described. Most people — and I can’t blame them, because it seems perfectly logical — try to convince their ex to take them back. They beg, plead, or just generally reach out to their ex and attempt to do things that they think will change their ex’s mind about the breakup.
