I learned by my girlfriend’s friend that she fell in love with another guy. It’s the middle of summer so I can’t see her or talk to her since she doesn’t have her phone(even when she had it she didn’t answer). I truly love her and need some help with this, not to be weak but because I love her, and I fear that she might go out with that guy if she breaks up with me. Is there a way for me to make her have feelings for me again? A way for not to break up with me?
I would like to congratulate you if you make it to this step without contacting your ex. However, if you contact your ex in between or you skip the other steps then I would strongly suggest you to start from the first step again as above three steps are very crucial for your success in getting your ex-girlfriend or ex-boyfriend back.
Don’t make the same mistakes. Remember that reflection period after your break up? Well, it should come in handy now. When you’re with your boyfriend again, remind yourself of what went wrong and try to prevent it from happening. If the problem was that you fought too much, then remind yourself to calm down when you have the urge to pick a fight. If your problem was that you were mean to his friends, try to be nicer, this time — your man should be worth it.
There are so many ways to contact a person these days, it’s almost ridiculous. You can call them, text them, facebook them, tweet them, and so much other stuff. And this comfortable technology leads to one of the worst mistakes people make after a breakup, texting their ex all the time (sometimes hundreds to thousands of texts a day).
The truth is, they already know that you love them, how much you adore them and how much you care about them. But they still decided to breakup. Showering them with affection is not going to help you. In fact, the more you smother them, the more trapped they’ll feel. And that will just make them want to get away from you as soon as possible.
Be sure however that one therapist works with both of you if you want to increase the odds that you will end up re-united as a couple. Two therapists, one for each partner, all but guarantees that the relationship will end.
You have accepted the fact that even if you don’t get your ex back, you will be fine since there are endless opportunities in the world to find love and happiness.(Read more about having the right mindset after no contact is over)
Another thing that really annoys me about you guys (yes I am talking to you) is that you think this no contact period alone will be enough to get your ex girlfriend back. Trust me it won’t be. You are going to have to do more (which I will be covering.) Think of the no contact rule as the first big stepping stone to success.
If you don’t give her space, you’re not going to be able to give yourself space either. While you may be tempted to check up on her social media, resist the urge! Delete your text conversations and unfollow her from social media, at least for a while. If she’s ready to talk to you again after the break up, she’ll let you know! In the meantime, you both need the space in order to sort out your thoughts and feelings.
You do not need to find out right away, and you definitely should not send friends to do your investigative work for you. Do not pursue your ex for at least a month after the breakup; instead, look for subtle hints when you run into him or her at school or work, social media posts, or comments that your mutual friends make unsolicited.
You just started dating a new guy. You are in that honeymoon phase and everything is great. You are constantly complimenting him and giving him acknowledgment that he is wanted by you. Basically he loves hearing that you are interested in him. However, as time goes on things begin to change. You don’t compliment him as much because you don’t need to land him anymore. This is when the problems begin for him.
Money is one of the biggest stressors in a marriage. Couples worry and argue about it constantly. If you find you and your spouse are starting to badger each other over the bottom line, it’s time to have a penny-pinching powwow. “We are all guilty of something economists call ‘passive decision-making,’ which just means defaulting to the easy option,” says Jenny Anderson, coauthor of Spousonomics: Using Economics to Master Love, Marriage, and Dirty Dishes. “Couples need to make an active plan about how they will manage their money: Combine it? Separate it? Create a joint account and keep some separate? Whatever the decision, both people have to be part of the decision to do it and then figure out what needs to be done to keep the system humming.”
When it comes to relationship advice and psychology of breakup then you should be careful in receiving advice because there are many clueless people who don’t know anything about relationship. After breakup your friend or family member surely gave you advice something like,
He doesn’t want to talk much about the breakup or the reasons, he’s never been one to open up and share his feelings, but he says there’s no going back from what happened. Yet, when I ask him if he sees a possibility of us working out in the long term, he says yes. I can’t tell if he means that or is just saying it, but what should I do to get him back in the long term? I have already broken the rule of trying to convince him and have tried remaining in contact with him, but I am going to stop contacting him completely now.
Work on your self-esteem. If you struggle with neediness, you’re probably a little lacking in the self-esteem department. You might be looking for your ex to make you feel better about yourself, but the fact is that you are the only person who can really do that. You shouldn’t base your happiness on someone else. It makes them feel guilty, obligated and eventually, resentful towards you.
You have to remain calm all the time. Try your best to don’t get angry and depressed. Best way to keep anger away from you is avoid getting in arguments and disagreements. Most of the time arguments and disagreements come in conversation because of previous relationship.
Note also that therapy is virtually always more potent if the couple goes together for some of the sessions. Paulette, after initial reluctance, decided to schedule sessions with Peter’s therapist as well. They sometimes saw the therapist separately, and sometimes together which helped them to recognize and rectify the problematic patterns in their prior interactions. When both partners participate in a process of growth, the odds zoom up that the outcome will be positive for both of them.

Prioritize yourself – This is the perfect time to prioritize yourself. Start hanging out with your friends once again.
