If you and your ex were in any type of serious relationship, then they will not be able to move on so quickly. In fact, no contact is only going to make them miss you more and remember the good things about you. You have to take a leap of faith over here. The alternative to no contact is being a creep and texting and stalking your ex all the time, which will probably lead to a restraining order against you. You really don’t have much of an option.

Hi there I need your help. My girlfriend broke up with me about two weeks ago. We pretty much argued a lot lately and she and I both had enough. I broke up with her in aug and we got back together. We pretty much argue about the same things. One major problem being her ex (child father) he would send her explicit things and we argued about that and the fact every chance he got he was hitting on her. To me she always made excuses for him saying take couldn’t block him or stop him because they had to communicate for child. To me seemed that she like him chasing her. She said I didn’t trust her but I’ve caught her in so many lies. Another large problem was she would sometimes lie about things..I couldn’t trust her which is one reason I didn’t want her communicating with oneone else. She said I was jealous and have a bad attitude. I felt she made me have one by not respecting our relationship and by entertaining other people. Anyways.. she broke up with me recently and says we will never work.. she said I didn’t care about her health or financial issues .. but lately she has me been pushing me away.. we work together so it’s hard to avoid her. I love her and want her back. We hit a bad patch and I’m willing to change. She has been flirting openly with another Co worker which I told her was disrespectful. Also same day we broke up I found out she slept with her ex. She denied it at first until I provided proof. I’m not innocent, I did flirt with someone else in her face while we were together to show her how it feels.. she hated but that was my point. I didn’t want her to break up with me..When we first broke up I didn’t everything this website said not to do. I even I friended her in Facebook which really pissed her off and she blocked my phone#. It’s only been 2 1/2 days since I’ve done the no contact things.. it’s driving me crazy and I can’t tell where her head is. I feel like I should be chasing her. Is this too far gone? Can I get her back?? So I leave it alone? It’s driving me crazy not being with her and not knowing what she is doing with other people

Getting your emotions out can be extremely therapeutic, even without seeing a therapist or a counselor. Reach out and find your support system. Even if you’re not talking about what’s bothering you, just having someone to talk to can make it easier to deal with missing your ex.

Until she returned. As I still pondered on what to do for New Years, I suggested we just hang out with some of my friends for the evening. I should’ve realized, when she kept avoiding the suggestion and pulled the “I’ve been feeling sick” card, that I had done something wrong. I figured, Ok, well I don’t want you to drink if you’re not feeling well. She blasted me New Years Eve night saying how she was hoping I had made reservations and taken her someplace classy in which she injected that her parents had done that. She told me that I didn’t get the hint, that I didn’t care and that I should’ve know her by now. This was when I immediately went into defense mode and apologized a million times. Because even if I felt as though it wasn’t a big deal, for her it was. She told me she hopes everything works out in the New Year and hasn’t spoken to me or returned any text messages since.

The first thing you have to do is to reframe your way of thinking. You cannot control the way things happens in your world, but you surely can control how these things affect your life and what you learn from them.

According to research, the number one cause of the breakup of romantic relationships is failure to communicate.[1] If your relationship was otherwise happy, this problem can often be fixed by setting clear expectations and openly discussing frustrations before things explode in a big fight. Other issues can be harder to overcome, like infidelity or jealousy; but with work and counseling, even these types of issues are possible to work through.

Remember that no contact is ultimately meant for you to pick yourself up and to create a version of yourself that would make your ex fall for you again. Whether she starts to move on or not shouldn’t matter, because she’s moving on from the image and impression she had of you before the change. As long as the relationship with her was meaningful, there’s always a strong possibility of her falling for you again if you seemed to have made significant positive changes to yourself, which captures her attention.

To improve your self-esteem, concentrate on your strengths in all areas: emotional, social, talents and skills, appearance, and any others that are important to you. For example, you might have natural empathy, the ability to make people feel understood, a talent for baking, and gorgeous hair. Focusing on the positive and ignoring the negative can help you to feel adequate and valuable as an individual, especially when you connect the best parts of yourself to helping others.[10] If you feel useless, make yourself useful! Take your natural empathy and talent for baking and bake some fresh cookies for your elderly neighbors.

Her name is Katie, and we met while working for our college’s LGBTQ magazine. Katie was a journalism major who dreamed of giving marginalized communities a voice, so she signed up as an editor. I, a physics and English major who wanted to try my hand at journalism, became her writer. After a few months of 4-hour “meetings” during which we talked about Carl Sagan, coming out, first lady-crushes, Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog (and also, you know, my writing) it was pretty clear that my feelings for Katie were more than friendly.

don’t block her.. Just start the nc rule.. be active in improving yourself and in posting and make your posts publi.. focus on that instead of worrying. I think you should do 45 days.. If she doesn’t contact you in it, that’s good because you’re not supposed to reply. You can initiate after nc.

Even for the most accomplished Casanova, reclaiming love after it has been lost is a tricky endeavor. Nothing about it is simple, or straightforward, and contrary to what rom-coms have been telling you all these years, sleeping on her doorstep is not a no-fail route to changing her mind.

Let her see you having a great time. Once you’ve given her some space and have worked on self-improvement, she’ll be much closer to wanting you. But now you have to put all the pieces together and let her see what an amazing guy you are and how much fun it is to be around you. Be strategic. Without looking like a stalker, make sure you’re hanging out in some of the same places so she can see what a blast it is to be around you.

Like other couples, we have been through a lot. It just hurts me that he didn’t turn out what he said he would be. But, I would like to try to get back together with him in the future since it brought out the best of both of us.

This is the only effective way of approaching the situation. By attracting your ex back into your life you can avoid the cheesy talks, the desperate measures, and the immoral manipulations (that are very likely to backfire anyway as we already discussed).

You can start with “Hey! Wassup” followed by the routine talk asking her of health and job issues. Now when she starts replying real fast you know it is time to ask her of meeting. It could be arranged on any of the place you both liked in the past like a café, restaurant romantic beach opening or even a shopping mall. But keep in mind that you do not need to take it faster. Relax and wait for the partner to ask of it. You know that she is eager for this.

There is one very crucial thing that most men don’t want to accept. We are slowly getting into feminine role and women are getting into masculine role. It doesn’t matter how far we as society has progressed, women still and always attract by dominant man that showed them attractive traits that we discussed above. [otp_overlay]
