“I had been going out with a guy for about two years and he broke up with me out of the blue. I eventually threw out all of the pictures of us, plus his hats and clothes that he’d given me, and I deleted all his text messages and threw away his letters. When he texted me, I just ignored it. I started seeing other people and got over him! Everything happens for a reason!” –Kylie, 18
(You want to give them something to chew on. They will be thinking about what’s happening in your life and will want to call or text you to talk about it. You are using curiosity to get your ex contact you. Of course, something must be happening in your life. That’s why creating a positive change in your life is absolutely important before contacting your ex.)
Once you’re set and committed and know you want him back and that he truly deserves you back, and both of your lives are much more enriched because of the relationship, then there is nothing at all that should hold you back. You really, really, really can win him back no matter how bad things might seem.
So… I decided to turn my How To Get Your Ex Boyfriend Back Guide into a video presentation to make it easier for you. It’s not going to win any awards for its video effects (!) but I hope you find it useful…
Ideally no. You want them to wonder what happened to you and why you are not contacting them. You want to be on your ex’s mind as much as you can. And telling them you are not contacting for some time will defeat this purpose.
In my career as relationship expert, I saw same common mistakes that couple did that leads to their relationship breakup. On other hand, I saw some common actions that bring new light in their stale relationship. And more importantly, I know few common things that you (women) can do to ensure your man will love you and never leave you again.
Getting over someone you had an emotional connection with can be very hard. Wheather it was you or ur partner who ended the relationship it ultimately leaves you and him/her with many insecurities and questions about and to yourself such as “did i do the right thing?” “Does that mean im not enough?”. In my opinion the first step in getting over someone is to clear out your head from all the doubts and seek peace in the ending of things in order to e able to look beyon and reach step number 2 which is to learn to love yourself. Which is important because u must reassure yourself that you are no less than enough and that you are capable of being on your own. Step number 3 is to distance yourself from any confusion or altercation concerning your ex, its best not to have them walking in and out of your life as they please which leads to step number 4, be confident that you will find someone for you, but in order for the right person to come along you must be the right person that can be found.

Getting over someone does not have a time scale and it does not depend on how long you have been together, time does not define the love you have for someone. Time is a great healer and it will get better. Try and get rid of all of the negativity that you have around you that will remind you or your ex partner and get some new things to help start your new beginning. Go out and have some time with friends and family and distract your mind from the thoughts of your ex. It will get better and it will get easier.
“I can see now,” Peter explained to her, “that in my depression about work I became totally self-centered. I withdrew from you, so no wonder you felt angry and distanced from me. As both of us withdrew from each other we lost our sexual connection. I felt desparate for attention. Then I took the ultimate wrong turn by seeking sexual attention from an infidelity. Big mistake! I’m so glad that now I’m looking for a job that will be a better fit for me. I think I’ve found one, and I’m thrilled at the prospect.”
I know it feels good, yes, that’s a good sign and congratulations! But, it would be better if you finish 45, so that you don’t look like you were just waiting for him to act and then you jumped on the opportunity.
By the way, the best results I’ve seen for people with abusive anger is with the energy therapy techniques of Bradley Nelson, which Dale Petterson in my office does for my clients. It’s quite amazing how these techniques seem to pull the anger out by the roots….though multiple interventions plus conventional couple and individual treatment have to be part of the treatment strategy.
Note: Please advise. This guide was created for the sole purpose of good will – to help other women understand how to get back the men they love. You should not use any part of this guide for wrongly manipulating men.
Show him that you are fine without him. It will be clear to him that you aren’t an obsessed ex girlfriend, but it will also show him that you’re having fun without him, which may result in him missing you more.
Click the reset button and ensure that you get over your issues. If you made a mistake, forgive yourself, too. Forgive, let go, and be willing to have a fresh start and build on having a better future ahead of you.
If you start to get back together and you slowly start to notice that it seems as though he is in it for the wrong reasons, it is best that you re-evaluate your position and move on if you have to. In the end, you need to have a strong and healthy relationship that will allow the both of you to be happy and thrive.
Thanks for your article, this makes so much sense. I just went through bad time where after a three months break requested by my boyfriend, he decided he was not sure he wanted to resume our relationship. I cut all contact. I needed to re-organize my life, rethink my situation and create a back-up plan. Since, I am trying to organize to get my stuff out of his place as we were staying together. He does not answer my messages, I don’t know what to do. I have to dride 14 hours to get to his place so I can’t just knock on the door. First of all, I don’t understand what happened as I really thought we were sole mates. Then, why is he acting so distant and non-cooperative. It hurts. I try to be realistic and independent but my heart is broken in so many small pieces.
Hi Ryan, I’ve been feeling anxiety lately due to my ex has been dating her ex before me lately. It hurts so bad and its killing me because I love and miss her so much. Feels like she moved so fast and doesn’t care about what we had, which is crazy to me. We had such a strong connection, yet she seems un phased with moving on. I feel like she is slipping away from me more and more each day. Like I should be pursuing her now. I remember she told me once she likes persistence chase after her. To see if you’re willing to work to get her. I asked her before the nc thing started if she wanted me to stop chasing her. She said she wasn’t sure if she did or didn’t. my heart hurts because she spent Christmas and will spend new years with this other person. We were suppose to spend these times together before the break up. She text me yesterday and sent a photo and asked if I remember where it was from. it was a pic from a place we use to eat at all the time.. I replied yes..i couldn’t tell if she was missing me or just letting me know she was at our place to eat with someone else.. I really want my girl back soon! 🙁
I may start an internship at the grocery store that our mutual friend owns and it is a close to Starbucks where he works. I had to text him about it as he may get confused if we will meet up more often. Texting went well..really well. I kept it neutral. We ended up texting 15 or more messages both. He was lovely himself like he was a few months ago. He said as soon as he has time, we can go for a coffee. I was really surprise him saying that. I am going to visit at that grocery store on Saturday and told about it. He said I should stop by at Starbucks and he’ll make me a latte. I am so confused but I am taking it slowly. I tried to end texting at high point twice but he kept texting and asking questions. On the 3rd time I got to end it.
Since then he would like and immediately unlike my pictures on Instagram so I get the notification but his gf can’t see it. He lives with her and yesterday he removed his relationship status and took off one picture with her and she his her status. Now he has it back to in a relationship with her.
You don’t want him thinking that, even if it is true. In fact, what you really want is for your ex to think you have moved on with ease… Not that you are constantly battling “I want him back” thoughts. You want him to believe that getting over what you two had has really been no big deal at all.
