Hi. So I did the no contact and after 30 days sent him a message saying “omg. You won’t believe what just happened to me” he replied with “what?” And then “are you okay?” Following “??” And then “??hello?” Within 20 minutes of me sending. He also called twice and I didn’t pick up. He loves cars and I couldn’t drive. So I told him I was taking driving lessons and that the wind was so strong I had to really take control over the car, which was true that day lol. He was really happy to speak to me and asked how it was going and how I’m doing and said I seem lighter and different. And that’s he’s happy I’m growing. Then he asked me how come I texted him lol. I said “I thought I’d do it, but have a nice evening and stay cool” not making him think that we gonna taleave some more. He said okay cool you too. I sent 7 messages. Which I know was wrong. But then waited 3 days to text again. He loves smoking weed and weed in general and me too. So I’ve been growing this tree and I decided to take a picture of it and sent to him with a little writing with it. That was yesterday and he still hasn’t replied. What should I do now?
Who knows! Maybe he does, maybe not. Either way, you want to hook up again because you’ve realized you still love him. Every other guy you meet can’t match his qualities and this just makes you go insane. Every date you go on with some new guy seems boring and shallow, you find yourself comparing him to your ex and this makes you feel even worse.
The point is that stepping back and making yourself less available to people can actually work in your favor. When you’re gone, you give your ex a chance to miss you and the good parts about you—that you’re funny or always a great listener—begin to take center stage over the bad things.
Deadlines are important for bills, assignments at work, and dairy products—but apparently they’re also a solid way to shut down those leftover feelings for your ex. Jordin Sparks says that she gave herself 21 days to get over her ex-boyfriend Jason Derulo, according to People, and it worked. During that time, she actually created a video blog to chronicle her progress and, of course, sing “I Don’t F*ck with You” by Big Sean at the top of her lungs. Hey, whatever works—right?
Women are ticking time bombs in terms of their fertility, and you had better believe that there’s an evolutionary part of your ex’s brain driving her towards the goal of having a child. For that reason, women need to see progress in relationships that indicates to them that they are on course to have kids.
I am in a New serious relation with someone else but I can’t help but think of my ex at times. My ex is now married and I want to love my new partner whole heartedly but don’t find him as attractive as my ex.
So, find out what messed up your relationship and work on it. Were you too cranky, moody, jealous, demanding, insane, nagging-all-day, not giving him his space and freedom, disrespectful, got fat, made out with another guy, or you just sucked in bed? Whichever it was – fix it. He needs to see that, after a month or so of breaking up, you are progressing; suddenly you became a different person. But do it for you, not for him. Once he sees how much different you became he’ll wish you never broke up in the first place, he’ll want to give the whole thing another chance too.
But this is how you start to get into his head; it is how you speak to his ego and leave him questioning his importance in your life. The best way to get your ex boyfriend back is to make him think getting back together is the last thing on your mind.
i cant seem to forget about my ex i tried all the tricks in the book , worse even went to as far as going to traditional doctors . he is dating someone else now and he is truly in love with her he said we should give us a try but he treats me like 2nd best to i really deserve this…? how do i move on its almost year now but am still holding on.
Initiate Contact Via Text Message- Test the waters with your ex boyfriend via text messaging. There are a whole set of rules and regulations that go with texting an ex. I am not going to go into those here but if you want to know them then please visit this page.
One of the things that I learnt is that if you want to attract back someone you love, it’s not about them, it’s about you. If you want to attract love you need to vibrate love, start by loving yourself! So every morning when I rose and every evening when I went to sleep I would stand in front of the mirror and tell myself how much I love myself. It sounds silly but it’s not . It really makes you appreciate yourself. I also listed all the positive things about myself. I would also affirm that me and my boyfriend were back together.
Hello! On another article on the thought process the guy goes through in NC, I commented that he can’t possibly be thinking of me, because you don’t think of things you throw away. My opinion changed: Thursday night, day 20 of NC he wrote me “Hey” I saw it in my notifications and decided not to write back, because the no contact rule is 30 days and I was also extremely scared. I thought for example that maybe he just wanted his books back (I still haven’t given them back), but then I thought, if that was the case, he would have written that already to avoid conversation. I talked to my mum and she said I should write back, because she believed, if I didn’t write back he would never try to contact me again. The next day I still hadn’t written back yet and I waited until after a three hour exam. I then talked to a mutual friend of mine and my ex and she said I should write him to see what he wants and she also said, I should write as if I were pissed off with him (I obviously didn’t, I have bad experiences of doing such with former crushes) and I wrote back “Hey”. He asked how I was and I asked him bla bla bla and he wasn’t feeling well. He vented his frustration about his problems with his parents (he has a very bad father-son relationship with his dad) and then he thanked me for trying to cheer me up (I actually only said my opinion) and I asked him how I should answer that. Of course he didn’t know, but after some time he apologised for “bothering me with his problems” and I made the mistake saying, he can talk to me if he has a problem. In that same message he also said that he had been thinking about me a lot recently and he needed someone to talk to. I was proven wrong about the not thinking about trash you threw away thing. I guess I’m not trash?? Jokes aside, should I do the no contact rule from the start again? Have I ruined my chances of getting him back, because it’s only been 3 weeks? Please tell me, this is urgent… thanks
Many people swear by the no contact rule and will use it after a breakup. No matter what you are trying to achieve, in the long run, you want to be able to go through this one phase that is a hard and fast rule of break-ups.
However, you don’t need to be too much quick in getting your ex boyfriend back instead you need to clear obstacles from the path making easy for your ex boyfriend to come back in your life again. If you want your ex boyfriend back then, you need to provide the right amount of ‘heat’ to get things back on track.
The above mentioned tips are the ones that must be followed because Girls usually make the mistake of flirting with other boys to make their boyfriends jealous. This will never work out and it will only jeopardize their relationships further. This is one thing that girls never realize. How would you feel if your boyfriend starts flirting with another girl?
I understand that you want to be alone and I respect that. Everyone deserves some alone time with themselves and I’m not going to deny you that opportunity. When you are alone, you can think things through but don’t overdo it.
if yes and you are mentally prepared for anything, you will still be friends, this options leads you to becoming numb, i sometimes love this method because it allows me to face the challenge squarely, expecting anything and when it finally happens i sigh with relief and move on, i used to stare at my ex’s photo with his wife really stare lol till i became numb and the reality sank in but i didn’t love him so much anyways. so good luck.
honestly I did not show appreciation to my ex while we together. I missed valentines day and his birthday. when I decided to make the best of times with him it was to late. then I asked him for closure and he came talked in person. I told what if I got therapy because there is something going on that effects my relationships. he told its been three weeks and I’m over you….. I cried of course then looked at him and said I feel better. just got sick of being sad, doesn’t mean I’m over him. but its step. then I told me what was really going on and told he’s proud of me said I’m strong person and good girl. he told me to feel free to talk to him and said he wont be jerk to me. he also wants to improve. it sucks that I was to occupied with other stuff in life that i didn’t learn to understand him but oh well. that doesn’t mean has feelings for me. sadly I cant live in world that revolves around him I must create my own world and keeping living up to my goals. this relationship may have been painful but helped realize what I need. we are blind from pain because only look at the bad qualities that it brings us but we all need realize its actually beautiful because it shapes us. I’m going to embrace it this break up..
Like any of the good opportunity has its bad and positive sides similarly any stage of break up is also the stage to learn from the experiences. Any of the relationship can be maintained and developed with time and the difficult occasions do come up with this opportunity of converting a relationship into a strong cordial relationship.
Our brains work in hilarious ways sometimes. That’s why we need to give ourselves a reality check and make sure that when we take a stroll back down memory lane, we remember that it wasn’t perfect all the time.
You couldn’t do anything about it then, but now you can. Flirt with these guys. Call them up or meet them. Speak to them, and tell them you’ve broken up with you guy. Trust us, these guys would make you feel like the princess you deserve to be. And you’ll actually end up having a great time! [Read: How rebound relationships can help you heal from the breakup]
Instead, your mind stays stuck exclusively on him and how amazing he is and how much you want him back. You need to spend this time focusing on you, focusing on becoming your best self, focusing on having fun and loving your life and being selfish and doing things that make you happy.
Control your loneliness. It can hinder your progress in not only social life but also professionally. Try to enhance your impact environment. Get close to people as much as possible. Do not let the feelings of being alone get over your nerves. This is the last of things you can do with your own self to get destroyed.
“In this part, I will need to know more about the basics of your past relationship, life and what you believe about relationships in general. This will help determine the overall category that your breakup fits in.”
At this point, if you’ve followed the last 2 steps closely, it’s likely that your ex is either going crazy himself for breaking up with you and he wasn’t prepared for how well you’d take it, or he’s thinking that you’ve moved on and he is now only a minuscule piece of your life. Either way, both will bother him so much that you should now have the upper hand and getting him back at this point should be a lot easier for you now.
Now this can happen in many ways. Suppose you are into a park and suddenly you come across your boyfriend with a pretty young lady. You almost will be shocked from inside but if you are reading this then remember to remain calm. Remember that this is the reverse psychology technique being used by your partner and you need not care about it.
I lost the love of my life over something stupid that I did. Long story short, I lied about my age. Although she didn’t care about my real age, it was the lie I carried on for a year that was part of the reason we broke up. She came from an emotionally abusive marriage and had baggage from that. And two kids who I came to love dearly – and who got along very well with mine. I know that she had issues stemming from childhood, specifically trust. But she’s an awesome girl – the love of my life, my parallel. But I messed up – I lied. Honestly, the lie started because I was afraid that she would be turned off when we first met (she’s 28 and I’m 48)…so I told her I was 44. Every time she brought up age stuff, I steered the conversation away. I wanted to tell her so many times but I knew that if I did that would end things. So I let it go and my heart is breaking because of it. It was her abusive ex-husband who cued her in and she defended me to him until I admitted it. Now, she won’t have anything to do with me. The breakup ended VERY BADLY. Probably the worst I’ve ever experience. Yelling/screaming/crying/etc. She said she can’t believe a word I said and felt like I used her for sex. She said that if I ever contacted her again that I’d be sorry. So I haven’t. At first after the breakup I did what everyone does – texted/called/emailed. I didn’t know of these steps. At any rate, she won’t talk and the last time we did I was met with extreme hostility. I know this one is done. Had I followed this advice there might have been a chance. But I doubt even that. Lessons learned the hardest of all ways. I wanted to marry her. It would have been my second and her third. I love her with all my heart and soul – she his my parallel. The yin to my yang.
Even if you don’t bring up your past relationship directly, you can remind him of the good times you shared together in subtle ways. If he complimented a particular outfit, wear it again. You could also share a light-hearted memory with him. If you have a chance to meet him, do it in a familiar place where you used to enjoy good times together.
Even if your ex-boyfriend is already dating someone new, you still have a higher chance of winning him back if you follow all the tips mentioned in The Ex Factor Guide and pair them up with the things you learned from this article. I hope you’ve learned how to get your ex-boyfriend back so you can get in a relationship with him again.
The main problem women write to me about is that the man they love has suddenly pulled away – sometimes for good. If you’ve experienced this or are going through it right now and you want to get your boyfriend back, you know how painful, hopeless and frustrating it feels.
By all means, go ahead and talk to him and reply to him at will. Just don’t do it in haste and don’t you be the one taking the initiative. Trust me. When you are taking this time to yourself and clearing your head, he will be thinking about you the entire time. The longer you hold out, the more it will drive him crazy and the more likely it’s going to be for him to be blowing up your phone rather than vice versa. When you are taking this step back, it’s going to signal to him that maybe you’re okay without him after all, and that thought alone will drive him crazy.
