Have a higher purpose in life: As Martin Luther King Jr said, “A man who does not have something for which he is willing to die is not fit to live”. Unless we have something that is a source of motivation, it will become very difficult for us to face problems which come in the course of our lives.

Resolve to talk–a lot. Periodically check in with each other about the relationship and your satisfaction levels. Addressing these issues head-on is particularly important for a relationship that comes with prior baggage.

Imagine for a moment that during your relationship with your ex girlfriend you were always very nervous about her talking to other men. So, every time you would catch her texting another guy innocently you would throw this big temper tantrum.

No. You shouldn’t answer your ex’s call. The only exception to this is if you are close to ending your no contact and you are already feeling great about your life. If you think that talking to your ex will have you obsessing about them again, don’t answer their call.

Add to your life experience. Take care of yourself by pursuing the experiences you’ve always wanted to have. Aside from obvious (and expensive) activities like road trips and skydiving, don’t forget to indulge the more mundane things, as well: visiting every park in the city, seeing what happens to a penny left on the railroad tracks, singing karaoke, finding the oldest headstone in the local cemetery.

Wrong. The truth is a girlfriend wants to be important to you but she also needs you to have other activities in your life that don’t include her. Because, if you’d made your life all about her, it’d be a case where she sees that she’s 100% won you over, and women get bored of men they’ve won over fully. Why? It makes them think maybe they could do better, and that’s the last thing you want your ex thinking.

It’s great to show that you are a high value man (read: masculine, charming, witty, adventurous etc). But if a guy ‘overshows’ his value (i.e. he demonstrates cool things about himself too often), it will backfire on him.

It may seems very difficult for you but with the help of my 5-step action plan it can somehow reduce your pain. Keep in mind you have to push your ex girlfriend to bring her closer to you. It also helps you to avoid validation seeking behavior. I just can’t explain the importance of these steps enough. Just follow my 5-step plan.

This may true but the point is a relationship is a two-way street. That meets at a junction only when the cars are driven by rule following individuals. If one does something in rush the other will also do something of same sort and the result will be devastating. The same is the case in a relationship. You may be having temperamental issues but it is bad to say that you were the sole responsible for the breakage.

On social media, you can take that to another level, as well. You can do things that you know she would find interesting (like skydiving or a cooking class), and post about that to pique her interest.

Again, I would say, it doesn’t matter if your reasons for getting anger are valid or not. What important is, you should acknowledge these reasons to recover from them instead of allowing them to control your life and relationship.

Relationship breakups are really heart breaking. It is disappointing to live without the person you love most in your life. You are ready to do anything to get your ex back, you are ready to beg to your ex to get back in your life. WAIT! Read this carefully this is not the right way to get your ex-boyfriend or ex-girlfriend back.

Hi , I’m so confused , can someone tell me what’s going on ?! , My ex girlfriend left me almost 3 weeks ago….she told me that she want to stay alone and rethink her thoughts , she’s has a huge dose of introversion since she was a child ,literally she only had me to talk with, and a firend who also has her own relationship.., a lot of problems in the family with her parents , and i was a little too pushy, i wanted to see her and stuff , and she just wanted to stay home and , do nothing, talk with no one ,she even delete her facebook account ….and i panicked and cried in front of her in the night she told me she want to break up….i guess that’s a bad move, but i couldn’t stand it….just because she promised me, she swore that she’ll never leave me and that i’m all she has , and that’s weird because a few days before she started to became …quiet i might say…she had plans with me , sleep at my place, and planning concerts in the spring break summer……i’m sooo confused …. i dont know what to do…..

I got into a relationship with a guy and he wanted us to get married but he traveled back and after some months he stopped calling me and now he talks to me and told me he didn’t know why he stopped calling or thinking about me…..I still love him and I want him back….I need help.

This is not a problem that gets solved with a text message.  You cannot change the core of your being in a single gesture.  So stop with the Hail Mary attempts.  You’re not coming back this late in the game with a single desperate maneuver.

Actually, in my research I found that a lot of experts recommend calling (after the no contact period.) I have read multiple stories of women who have actually had some success with this method. However, I don’t like the phone for a lot of reasons. First off, it doesn’t give you time to think. The second your ex boyfriend picks up (if he even picks up) you have to be on your toes and there is a lot that can go wrong. Not to mention he still may be a little resentful about the break up.
