she’s on a year programe in another city, we see once in a month. which isn’t enough closure for me. she’s been on this program for about 5months now. I feel due to this she lost attraction towards me, as we only see once a month, and our calls or texts ended up in arguments.

Only when you’ve become a guy that is attractive to LOTS OF PEOPLE will you and your ex seriously stand a chance of getting back together.  And by then, you’ll have built such an amazing life for yourself that you might not even want to ?

paragraph addressing half of the elephant in the room, that when he said he is overwhelmed, that respond overwhelmed me, and I didnt say those words but reacted in that way. I understand I am very scared of abandonment. I had a gut feeling of you backing out, hence I was walking on egg shells and did not even bring up the topic. Probably if I had, we would have had a different situation. That I have anxiety and I acted out of a place of fear when you said not to come without any explanation and to not call you too. Something to show my vulnerable side and how this time apart, I have thought about it. And it applies to us and that day’s conversation. Without putting nay blame on him. (I do think that knowing I have anxiety he should have handled it better, what he did is the nmber one trigger for me, but I do not want to go there, and I am going to chalk it off to us still exploring each other.)

Give her some space. The first thing you need to do is give the girl some space. If you start knocking down her door and calling her every five minutes she’ll only pull further away from you. The amount of space and time you give her depends on what happened when you tried to date her. If you ended a serious relationship, you’ll need to give her more space than you would if you had just dated a few times.

Maybe you’re lazy or unhealthy or negative, these are real reasons. If you come to her door with a handful of gifts, sure, she’ll take them, but that doesn’t mean she’s going to be with you. She wants real results.

Hay Russell breaux here im 25 shes 23 we luve together with her mom broke up about 2 months ago we have a two year old daughter she tells them shes done and she tells me the oppusute she just needs space she hangs with alot of guys iv spent the last two months begging for her back everything ur not suppose to do after a break up wht do i do

Ok, the first tactic is from my own experience. I don’t have any research to back it up but I feel it will work because it worked on me. One thing that always made me a bit jealous (even though I never voice it) was when a girl I felt really strongly about has a bunch of pictures with a bunch of different guys on her Facebook profile. I know that sounds ridiculous but it legitimately made me like “Damn, that guy got to be in her presence.” Here is the key though, if I felt strongly about a girl (who was single) and I saw a bunch of pictures of her getting totally drunk and making out with a bunch of guys I will no longer feel strongly about her. In fact, I might lose interest entirely. So, I would say that your best bet would be to post innocent pictures with other guys. The key is to be really subtle about it but trust me if your man has a Facebook I promise you he will check your profile from time to time.

Inspect your motives. Breakups are hard. It’s natural that after breaking up with someone, you’ll miss their company and the sense of security the relationship may have given you. More than that, being on your own after a breakup often means having to be alone with painful feelings that you would much rather avoid. As a result, your knee-jerk reaction can be to just want things to go back to the way they were, which is at least familiar and often somewhat comforting.[1]

Peter discovered that if he wanted to talk with his wife, he would get the best results if he asked from a stance of self-respect. He tried asking if she would meet him for coffee. She replied, “Sure!” In fact, the groveling and self-deprecation that Peter had learned as a child were the opposite of what his wife wanted. The more confidently he addressed her, the more positively she responded.

Getting too much approval from girlfriend is also very unattractive. Unattractive men seek validation and approval from their girlfriend and this is why they fail to keep attraction in their relationship for long time.

If you use any of these tricks you only will be destroying your chances for getting your ex for long lasting relationship. You may able to get your ex by tricking them but this will be only short-lived. Your ex will leave you again by finding the old problems in relationship are still there.

To his relief, Peter began to experience his small apartment somewhat more positively. Now it felt like a cozy place to read and enjoy time alone. His loneliness, too, began to abate to the point that some evenings he even preferred staying home alone to running out to activites with others lest he drown in the pain of loss.

#11 Write her a letter. It’s a great way to say everything you want to say. Plus, it’s therapeutic for you. It also stands out, rather than a text or email. In your letter, talk about how you accept what happened, apologize for your behavior, and mention how your life is turning into something positive and exciting. Like I said, a little bit of jealousy is a good thing, but you can’t be too obvious about it or your ex will simply get irritated and your attempts at stimulating jealousy will have the opposite effect.

I am now in week 3 of no contact. I feel better now, and I finally feel much happier without my ex, but there is just one little thing that hold’s me back from my full happiness. It’s that I told her 1 lie (it was something pretty bad, wouldn’t like to get into any detail here… but it’s nothing like cheating or anything about the relationship!)

Well, perhaps it may have gone too far in his mind, but it doesn’t matter because people get impulsive and exaggerated thoughts when they are emotionally affected by situations. These things can be changed, but may require a bit of time for him to let go of it. Just give him some time and space for now, but you could continue to talk to him casually as a friend and at least let him see that you’re there for him.

This is the easiest one, in that it doesn’t require any input from your ex, but also the most difficult one, in that it requires heavy lifting on the part of your emotions. If you do it right, you’re going to come out the other side a stronger, more emotionally stable person. If you do it wrong, you could either drive yourself crazy, ruin a potentially positive relationship, platonic or otherwise, with someone who cares about you, or end up with a heart of stone. So what situations should you try to get over your ex in?

First impressions are everything. You need to remember that. How you approach this first contact message is almost as important as the text messages later in this process. Why? Because, if you screw this part up you can kiss your chances of getting your boyfriend back goodbye. No pressure though. [otp_overlay]
