I still love my ex but we work together and before we broke up we’re together for three years not only this but he lives around the corner and I have tried to move on but I always see him with his new girlfriend they became a couple as when me and him were dating he slept with her on multiple occasions
It would do you better to walk away from this since he has already prioritized another female over you and has even expressed his disinterest, which might have been caused by the loss of spark or interest after so many years.
One of my biggest weaknesses is my ex-booty call. The sex was fabulous between us, but he also had just enough caring to almost be a friend and be there when I needed him and just enough not caring to make me chase him even more. Seriously, he knew how to play me and he had me hooked.
The first thing we immediately do when we’re dumped is go online to see what they’re up to. We’re curious to know if they’re suffering as much as we are, and whether they’re going through torture day and night.
It is definitely possible to get your ex back and make the relationship last, but it doesn’t just happen because you want it to. There are important things to consider and a bit of work to be done. Missing each other isn’t enough. Loving each other isn’t enough. Relationships take more than that to survive.
Basically, the no contact period should be as long as it takes you to get yourself together and feel great about your life without your ex. In my experience, it can take up to 30 days. However, in extreme cases, it could range from anywhere from 2 months to 6 months.
Do not pursue your ex during this time. That means no calling, texting, or asking around about how he or she is doing. Most importantly, do not ask your ex questions about why the breakup happened or about whether he or she is seeing anyone. This comes across as desperate..
So, my ex bf and i met on okc on november last year, he lives in Maryland and i live in Peru, we talked for a few months every day all day, he sent me flowers for valentines and a cake for my birthday. In april he came to peru to stay with me for a week and in may i went to the states to study. After a few months, he told me that he needed his spaces and we have a few issues about it but never thought that he would broke up with me. He broke up with me boyfriend 2 weeks ago, we were still living together after the breakup (because of course i practically moved from my country with him to study and i didnt have anywhere else to go) and a few days later he dumped me, he dated a girl from work. This girl texted him a few sexual messages while we were still together and they went on a date, they kissed and she touched him down there. Even when we broke up, he told me that he loves me a lot, that he cares about me deeply but he is not in love. He still wanted to have sex with me, and even after his date we had sex. Im back in my country a week after the breakup, and he texted me today that he miss me. Do i still have a chance to get back with him? or is a lost cause?
Luckily, since I have determined that this is an essential part of the strategy I have spent a lot of time refining my strategy for it and have even recorded entire podcast episodes over it here (link) and here (link.)
Three weeks ago, he stopped initiating conversations with me and the texting reduced alot . he called me last night and told me that he had met someone in the last three weeks and wanted to pursue the relationship because he felt that this wasnt healthy anymore. I was beyond shocked but i did understand when he mentioned how he missed being in a relationship etc and that realistically he never knew when i could come back. he also wanted to tell me that he was going to stop talking to me so much as he felt this was for the best and he didnt want to string any girl along ( me or the other girl, he chose the other girl obviously) . I was upset and was emotional and upon stalking the girl ( i am ashamed to admit this) she seemed like the complete opposite of me and I cant help but think it could be a rebound? I said i would accept his relationship but that i did love him. we got into an argument which made him eventually say that he didnt want to give me false hope and we should not speak anymore so that we could both move on. Do i have any chance at all?
You will break this cycle if you reach out first. And instead of regret, he’ll probably feel even more justified in his decision to end things. Men are inherently repelled by women who infringe upon their personal space, and if you keep reaching out after he ended it, that’s exactly what you’ll be doing.
You are making a huge decision right now. So you better make sure that it is the right one. You have 30 days to do it, so don’t rush into it. Take your time. Relax and do things that make you feel better. When you start being happy in life without your ex, you will realize whether or not getting your ex back is the right decision. And that is extremely important before you move on to the next step, which is contacting your ex.
