You are a very nice woman and you are meant to be cared, loved and pampered with care. your husband must never make you cry because you are a nice woman with a good heart my heart tells me. I always obey the request of my heart because it has never led me wrongly before. My heart is my guide.
Honestly thank you so much for your response. I’ve been in a heartache for so long and I want to improve my relationship with my ex boyfriend. Your perspective has really impacted my day and I can say I will take every word you’ve said for the rest of my life. Thank you.
Take your time, do things you love. Connect with other people who will support you and help you get through it, know that it’s normal to miss people who are no longer in your life. Talk to someone about it, talk to your ex about it if it’s necessary. Don’t blame yourself for whatever happened in the past, and maybe love yourself before you love others.
The point isn’t just that you get your ex back, but that you KEEP him. Often folks just have sex again, once or twice, but things don’t work out and they end up breaking up again. So don’t take anything for granted. Make sure he has the best night of his life when you make up, but after that don’t drop into your “old” relationship with your ex, instead – create something new.
Not sure about this stiring of jealousy so to speak. I’ve tried to use a little bit of jealosy for my guy to realise I want him to call me as we haven’t spoken for days and also another time to make us ‘official couple’ and it backfired. As these events were near each other he exploded in once about both accusing me of being unloyal. Though my fault was that I simply sent him a screenshot of a guy (whom I talked to while we were on a break with him) who asked me out and I answered I’ve got back with my boyfriend. I said to my guy I was rejecting others while I didn’t even received responce from him. He got even more quiet and few days later after finally asking him was he angry about something he pushed me away saying he didn’t think it would work with me as I was chatting to others. He’s been hurt by an ex gf and is pretty much on the lookout for clues about unloyalty. Maybe for guys who are not that jealous yeah but I wouldn’t use this method any more!
This doesn’t mean you need to completely shun him if you go to school together or have mutual friends, but avoid calling him or hanging out with him for a little while so that you both have the chance to heal and gather your thoughts.
As mentioned above, you need to be better than what he remembers you to be. Hotter. Way hotter. This can be a huge motivator to any guy to get back together. It’s important that you don’t see each other for some time, and then once you do – he is just blown away by how much prettier you’ve become.
Throughout your fair share of break-ups, you will see that the recovery time will often vary. However, this does not just depend on the actual length of the relationship as most people would think, although this can be a factor. More so, the recovery time largely depends on the overall depth of feelings that are felt for one another.
“At first, do no harm” is actually an old Hippocratic Oath that applies mostly to doctors, but I think it’s a good metaphor to use after a breakup as well…especially if your end goal is to get back with your ex boyfriend. The absolute first step to take is to make sure you don’t do anything stupid and make things worse than they already are.
If you try to convince your ex that this new person is not right for them, it’s only going to make them want it more (think of telling someone to not press a button and they’ll definitely want to press it). They might even let the rebound relationship run longer just to prove you wrong.
The worse thing you can do is to drink alcohol to forget him. You’ll end up hooking up with some idiot in a club that you’ll never want to see again, the next day you’ll just feel depressed. Pull yourself together! You don’t need alcohol to get over your ex boyfriend. That’s what weak people do. Are you weak? Of course not.
“After my boyfriend and I broke up I was devastated! My friends had my back, though, and they planned a girls’ night in, which included a pit fire. That night all three of us brought along things that we wish we could let go of. I brought notes that my boyfriend had written me, as well as a flower from him that I had pressed. That night we made a vow to be ‘freed’ from whatever we burned. I threw the whole pile in, topped with the rose, and watched as the pages curled with flames. I closed my eyes, took a deep breath, and haven’t looked back in years. It was great!” –Jenny, 18
Create a new reality that doesn’t include your ex. Purge yourself of materials and even friendships that you find are toxic or holding you back. Make changes and take plunges that you’ve always thought about, but never actually done. Get a drastic haircut, redo your living room, or travel to a foreign country. Forging new experiences without your ex, will make you feel worlds away from the life you created together.
My girlfriend broke up with me after 4 years due to me being controlling and clingy. Told me the night of the breakup that she loved me, but wasn’t in love with me anymore. We talked every so often afterwards until I figured out I was actually making things worse and proceeded with NC for 25 days. We’re long distance so it’s a bit easier than others. We had plans to meet up when I came home to visit family for thanksgiving and talk, and we did meet up but we hardly talked. She said it was too soon and didn’t want our emotions to get the better of us. I was a bit mad, because I waited almost an hour. We spoke on the phone afterwards and got into an argument about what happened and both said some mean things.
Again, your instincts are screwing with you. Trust me, no one takes their ex back out of pity. No one is attracted to someone who is miserable. And even if your ex came back because of this, do you really want your ex to be with you just because of pity? Or do you want them to respect and love you?
My boyfriend broke up with me 2 days ago I feel so awful like if everything has gone for me, I cannot realize why he broke up with me, was so horrible the way he did to me. Last message he sent was telling me how much he loves me with a lot lovely words. Then I sent him a message back doing the same telling lovely words but he did not return back my texts he just ignore me. Then I saw something that it’s was a evidence for me. That this relationship he just wanted to put a distance with me, the reason it was because of his work and things just were complicated
Losing someone is hard especially those who mean so very much to us. It’s important to give yourself time to heal whether that’s a week, a month, a year or sometimes longer. Try focusing on positive goals and things that are good in your life instead of negative emotions, but when those negative emotions hit it’s important to let yourself feel them and then move on. Instead of focusing on your past, try to look towards the future and what new adventures lie ahead.
Is it appropriate to post or allow friend to post pictures in my social media like FB of me with another male?? even if we are friends but it can come across as more then friends. Is been 3 months that my on-off boyfriend of 4 yrs left the house we share for the 3 years, his excuses was that I would be better without him, is not the first time he leaves but I had been the one who always reach out to him and “convince him to come back”, I want different results so is been 2 weeks that I staring applying the no contact method and he has not contact me either.
Love is never wrong. When someone comes into your life who allows you the opportunity to experience love, that is always a true gift. Part of maturity, however, is recognizing that love by itself isn’t always enough to make a relationship work. Many other factors and circumstances, such as timing, incompatible values, or the choices we make, play a significant role in whether a relationship can thrive. But moving on from a relationship that isn’t working isn’t always about ending the love you feel. Sometimes the only way to let go is to love someone enough to want the best for him or her even if that means not being together.
It is sad to see there are 60% relationships in America that ends up in divorce. So since he wouldn’t believe me I think this is what made him go on a cheating spree. When I would leave him to try and move on I would try talking to other guys. But I loved him and kept going back to him. I would receive texts from this guy I wasn’t talking to any longer and my ex would get further upset and I would discover even more girls he would be talking to online and probably in person. So in reality I don’t how many times he cheated. All I know is that I was always loyal to him and honest.
