And be open to the idea that if you are tremendously happy in your own life as a single person, the perfect guy will appear and he will lock you down in the relationship you’ve always wanted… because being around you feels so good, he can’t imagine living his life without you.
Then imagine everyone liking and loving you! Imagine them wanting to be near you and talk to you and be friends with you! Imagine being surrounded by a crowd… imagine how they completely adore you! You are a star and you’re fabulous! They can’t help by admire you and be drawn to you! Thank them for giving you that attention!
Truth 3: Rebound relationships are relationships that usually form right after a breakup. Lucky for you rebound relationships don’t last forever. In fact, statistics show that 90% of rebound relationships are bound to fail. So, the odds are in your favor just make sure you keep your cool while he is dating his new girlfriend. Remember, if you freak out you are going to make a lot of mistakes and mistakes aren’t going to help get you two back together.
Ok thanks Ryan! Also we had a phone call recently just chit chat, it was a pleasant phone call I meantioned that I’m going away at the end of the week and if he wanted to see me, he said he feels pressured? And he doesn’t know, maybe another time then? I don’t know what he’s trying to communicate to me, as we’ve been texting for around a month and a phone call last night. At the end of the phone call we said it was nice to hear your voice and he said it was nice to hear your voice too. He sounded really depressed. I’m not sure if he needs more time? I’ve always been a go getter and he’s more relaxed and goes with the flow. could you explain what he means by pressured? Do I just give more time? My gut instinct and the way he sounded on the phone told me he missed me? Thanks
Situation 1– You broke up with your ex, realized you wanted him back but found out that he got a new girlfriend after the breakup. If you are in this situation then you are free to go ahead and try to get your ex boyfriend back.
You let your ex walk all over you. You become a doormat. You agree to the most ridiculous demands your ex has. But your instincts tell you, it’s OK. Because having your ex in your life is the only thing that matters.
What’s the deadly mindset/perspective that will guarantee you act needy? It’s believing that you could “lose something” or that something could happen that would create a “lack of something” in your life.
If you behaved in 3+ of the above ways during the latter stages of your relationship with your ex, then the reason you lost her is because her attraction for you faded out. She will likely have told you some other bullsh*t reason for the break up, but the fact that you answered yes to the questions above, coupled with the amount of sense that the explanations I gave make, shows that dying attraction is unmistakably the cause.
If the problem had to do more with him, then you can think about how you can be together again without this issue — maybe he’ll be willing to change. But if he’s not willing to change and you know this will be an issue long term, then you should consider whether or not it’s worth it to get him back.
The way your relationship ended can often give clues as to how you can get it back. By fixing certain things that are wrong with your relationship, you can both get back on the path to being happy again.
So see the positive side of the breakup and do the things you couldn’t do while you were with him. Wear a short dress in public if you want, go shopping all day long, eat Indian food – do whatever the heck you want!
No matter how miserable you are, you absolutely have to get out of the house. If you stay inside, with all those memories and all those reminders, you’ll only make yourself feel worse. Even if you feel like crawling in bed for yet another week…don’t.
Omg I’ve been doing everything the wrong way. I moved out of m bf’s after we got in big argument cause I got home from work late. When I was actually at my therapist office asking for advice how to communicate better with my ex. Long story short, he got mad cause I deleted text messages that day. Ever since moving out he has “trust issue” so it’s been up and down. This is the longest we’ve gone without communicating or hanging out. I feel like he feels he has me so secure. I also have the messages he got so mad that i deleted i tried to show them to him but he won’t see them, I think he knows he over reacted and doesn’t want to see he was wrong. Sometimes i feel like just sending him the messages.. should i?
5) I do want to be friends with him and be there for him. I realize I need to quit contact for at least 3 months. But he is moving out of state and across the country in 3 months (I was going to move up there with him after I finished my graduate studies.) I’m afraid that no contact will harm our chances at a true friendship later on.
I BROKE IT OF WITH MY “WIFE” NEVER WAS ACTUALLY MERRIED WANTED TO 4 THE PAST 16 YEARS AND I COULDNT BECAUSE SHE WAS STILL MARRIED ON TOP OF THAT SHE MESSED AROUND WITH HER X LESB GF WHILE SHE STILL WAS WITH ME WTF
.. That Just Shook Me Like I Was Half Dead… But Then I asked Him That If Career Is The Reason.. This Is Not A Valid Reason For A Break Up.. But I Understood What It Was.. It Was The Things I Reminded Him Of Past & That Made Him Upset But Due To His Job He Didnt Replied Me Much On My Msgs about the past.. So Right Now He Is Totally Out Of My World, Love For ame & etc.. but my main prob is also that one of my friend when i was crying Took his no. From my cellphone and messaged him about why was he firm fr the break up and why didnt he think of me.. so here my friend didnt know a single bit of our story ..(still dnt knw) .. she just msged a long lecture kind of paragraph to make him realise how much i loved him.. and she also wrote that a guy shouldnt play game or shouldnt use a girl like this.. just a relationship of 3 months is not done.. so he is now upset with me for this thing that y my friend said so when nothing such happened between us.. as it was long distanced.. and thus.. since then arguments ended.. and now i am in the ‘no contact’ with him right now..
In this article, I will show you how to start the process of getting back with your ex; but, as you know, you will only see the results when you do all the work yourself. Knowledge without practice is nothing.
Now in any of the relationship there are some boundaries that are meant not to be crossed. Like your boyfriend may not be looking for a girl who is very showy or unpredictable in nature. Similarly, you on the other hand may be looking for a guy who is stylish and passionate when it comes to talking flirting.
Thank you so much for this great article. You’re right! Happiness is the key. I’ve been single now for a few years, post a really bad breakup, and I’ve spent all this time focusing on myself, on what makes me truly happy, independent of guys. And I can honestly say it’s an amazing feeling to be comfortable with yourself. I feel more attractive now than I ever did in my relationship. And I was in my twenties! Thanks for breaking it down in such an honest way. Everyone should follow your advice!
“If a girl wanted to get her ex back, she would definitely have to work hard. There must have been a reason for splitting in the first place. If the relationship ended because of bad habits she had (being very controlling or jealous, etc.), she should focus on changing her ways and tell him what she plans to do to fix the relationship.”
In this case, I’m the guy. She pressured me to get a higher payin job etc. just like you did. I can admit that I was a bit lazy too in advancing in my career. I got too comfortable for too long in my lower wage government job. Lower wage, but secure. I had a hard time leaving the job to make more money. She was right though. I still have to do it. We just broke up a month and a half ago. That was MY issue. HER issue was that she can be moody and a bit nasty when she argued. I didn’t like the rude nasty way of arguing. It’s not right. The moodiness was often a real drag. I wish she was just a nicer person. She’s a GOOD person, just wish she was NICER. *sigh*
Do not cyber stalk him and do not pass by anywhere he frequents. Stop making these really “necessary” excuses to get in touch with him or ask him some pathetic question that you need to know right now. If you have to break your fingers, do not contact him in any way, avoid it at all costs. No more crying “I miss you, I’m nothing without you” crap. Back up. You are about to give this assbag the ride of his life.

Getting your ex back is all you can think about after hearing a few deadly words; “It’s over” or “This isn’t working for me.” Everything that you’ve counted on and known until now is suddenly gone. Your life plans, your hopes, your dreams and a part of yourself feels utterly lost. You are left with a broken heart and a huge, great, gaping hole in your life.
So this is all about understanding the basics of a relationship and then sacrificing your small things. Sacrificing your time out of daily schedule, sacrificing your ego in the name of relationship. Only then you may be able to withstand daily hardships and enjoy the love and passion of a true relationship.
