My girl broke up with me a few days ago said she can’t trust me, we don’t spend a lot of time together, my fault really, I miss her so much but she said she wants to forget about me, which she said is very hard, she got some bad advice from her friend and me working late doesn’t help, sooooo she feels like I’ll cheat on her we had talked bout marriage but never made any real decisions, right now she doesn’t wanna know about me, what should I do? Any suggestions?
Perhaps it’s knowing this history that made me bristle at the musical dark comedy Crazy Ex-Girlfriend when it premiered in 2015. Crazy Ex-Girlfriend satirizes and finds humanity in the trope that gives it its title. The series follows Rebecca Bunch (played by co-creator and writer Rachel Bloom), a Harvard- and Yale-educated real-estate lawyer who rips apart her moneyed life in New York City to chase a boyfriend from her teen years, Josh Chan (Vincent Rodriguez III), to West Covina, California. Now in its third season, it’s always been a bauble of carefully spun candy, with a trace of bitter truths lurking under the surface. It’s witty, well-acted, brazenly inventive, and a pleasure to watch. It has an elasticity few other shows come close to, let alone pull off with such regularity, in the way it melds cutting emotional truths with audacious musical numbers that reference everything from Gentlemen Prefer Blondes to 1980s hair-metal bands. But I was always left cold by it. It took until season three, which takes a gimlet-eyed approach to Rebecca’s mental-health concerns, for me to realize that my chilliness toward the series wasn’t a mark of any inauthenticity I witnessed in its narrative. In fact, it isn’t that I didn’t see much of my own journey with mental illness on Crazy Ex-Girlfriend; I saw too much of myself in the overachieving, myopic Rebecca Bunch.
Before you approach your ex-girlfriend and convince her to go back to you, spend time doing some soul searching. This is important in ensuring that you won’t waste your energy and time on a relationship that will still fail.
Don’t make the same mistakes. Remember that reflection period after your break up? Well, it should come in handy now. When you’re with your boyfriend again, remind yourself of what went wrong and try to prevent it from happening. If the problem was that you fought too much, then remind yourself to calm down when you have the urge to pick a fight. If your problem was that you were mean to his friends, try to be nicer, this time — your man should be worth it.
Well, the truth is that there is no best method. Every single relationship is different and will require different methods. Some people prefer calling while some prefer letters. Personally I prefer texting. So, from this point on I am just going to be focusing on that method and the best practices using it. But first….
i am an 18 year old male, i broke up with my ex girlfriend almost 3 months ago, we was together almost 5 years, we had a strong bond but we went through an unfortunate abortion, during this situation she got attached to the baby im her stomach but wasnt finacially stable to take care of a child, her anxiety got really bad and she pushed me away and wouldnt let me near her, after almost a month of this she broke up with me stating that she had lost feelings and doesnt want to be with me anymore, we have broken up and got back together alot in the past, but this time is different, i acted irrational and constantly begged and stated how upset and lonely i was without her, i irratated her to the point of she blocked me on afew social medias, but she left 1 line of communication open via instagram, i often message her but she doesnt reply but she reads the messages, if she doesnt look at the message fast enough i panic and irratate her with more, she then replies with “Go away, leave me alone, move on i want you to” i ask her why we broke up and all she says is ‘everything’ thats all she says, i truley believe there is a chance but she is being too stubon to admit it, im really confused and in a bad place, there was never any cheating, im so worried that the no contact rule will not work, although if it doesnt im still in the same place im in now so what can get worse… i read alot of these getting ex back websites but im never really satisfied with the information as every situation is very different, i really do want her back, and the relationship will be great if i get the chance to reconcile it, im really in need of some help im looking forward to your help and also the no contact daily email help as i need as much help as i can get.
Also her birthday is coming. It is About 3 weeks later. my main asking you is if she doesnt reply or say ‘dont contact me. (totally reject ) i dont want to do anything with you or we shouldnt meet even as a friend.’
Again, showing her that she’s got you 100% by the balls like this will make her bored, which equates to reduced attraction that contributes to a break up. It’ll also indicate to her that you have no other viable dating options (because if you did have such options, why would you be so concerned with stressing your commitment?).
It may seems very difficult for you but with the help of my 5-step action plan it can somehow reduce your pain. Keep in mind you have to push your ex girlfriend to bring her closer to you. It also helps you to avoid validation seeking behavior. I just can’t explain the importance of these steps enough. Just follow my 5-step plan.
Men usually attract with the physical beauty of the women but women usually attract with traits. Some traits attract them and some traits repel them. Initially, your attractive traits bring your girlfriend closer to you but as relationship progress you start showing some unattractive traits that push her far from you.
So your relationship has a bad pattern of you guys fighting. But when you focus on yourself, improve, and indicate you might leave, she suddenly gets super sweet. Honestly, it doesn’t sound like she has grown or that the relationship could work at this point. She is still being very manipulative and is not giving love freely in her interactions with you. The catch is, that when she feels like she is going to lose you for good, she puts on a smiley face, shows emotion and gets real sweet.
Repeat a few times over several weeks. Allude to you having dates by talking about a new film you saw at the cinema, or an Italian restaurant you have been to. You don’t say who with, but it’ll get her to thinking about you and will spark jealousy/intrigue.
If you’re having issues missing your ex girlfriend, then going out and meeting new people can be just what you need. And who knows? Maybe you’ll meet a girl who makes you forget about her all together.
In this case, should i inform her that I would not contact her for a while, or still answer her calls but keep the conversation to general topics and avoid getting to serious topics? Or should I just ignore her (and might push her more away)?
I just broke up with my girlfriend today and it’s all because of me. She said I was being harsh and she said I don’t love her when I actually do love her soo badly. And she said she cant handle me anymore. Can you help me solve my problem and help me to get her back.
I know: I lived that life for 36 years and have b een the modeerator of an abused survivors’ and emotional abuse group for many years. The Verbally Abusive Relationship by Patricia Evans is a book which should be required for everyone on the planet.
Another thing that really annoys me about you guys (yes I am talking to you) is that you think this no contact period alone will be enough to get your ex girlfriend back. Trust me it won’t be. You are going to have to do more (which I will be covering.) Think of the no contact rule as the first big stepping stone to success.
Studies have shown that 90% of rebound relationships don’t work out in the long run so the odds are probably in your favor. There is no reason to start harassing him or the girl he is dating. Under no circumstances will you contact him. In fact, DO NOT CONTACT HIM OR HER. The further away from the breakup your ex gets the more nostalgic he will become about your relationship. This means he will forget the bad times and remember the good times.
Dont abuse your privileges. Im not saying dont go out on a limb to ask her something, but know your limits, and know yours and her comfort zone. These next few weeks are going to be the toughest ive faced in my life. Ive never felt this way about a girl before. She means so much to me and i dont want to lose her. Lose what we have.
