Some people may have valid, sincere reasons for wanting to get back with their ex while others are simply going through the motions and feeling the normal emotions that can be experienced with such a loss.

I am currently involved with an ex boyfriend of mine, it was about 16 years between relationships, but we have always remained good friends. We both know why the first relationship did not work and are committed to the current one. We’ve been together for about a year now, and I’m still getting to know the man that is he is now compared with my happy go lucky friend from back then.

Whatever it is – it’s an opportunity to text him, “Hey, I saw a commercial for a cruise the other day and it reminded me when we went to the beach for a week together. That was so much fun, I’m really glad we did that together.”

Don’t overdo it. Don’t post pictures with ten different people, and don’t post tons of pictures. You want to tease your ex with the idea that you are with someone else. Don’t be obvious that you are trying to make him jealous. You don’t want to seem desperate.[16]

Take out calendar and mark the date that is 30 days from now and in this time make sure you don’t contact your ex, stop getting notification from your ex boyfriend in your Facebook profile and don’t appear in places where you think your ex boyfriend will be there. Doing this will help you in removing negative feelings.

Now that you’ve arranged the meetup, at some non-romantic place I hope, it’s time to get your game face on. I know you want him back, but doing this the right way to make sure it works out this time will take some time and patience. Play your cards right and all will be back to normal sooner than you know!

Go to a spa and get pampered. Buy a new set of clothes, shoes, and makeup. Give yourself a makeover as the strong, independent woman you are. Enroll in a culinary course and learn something new. Indulge in worthwhile activities like yoga, swimming, biking, and the arts.

“First, it’s to get control of yourself and get some perspective on the relationship.” – this is a great point..hope all women try this instead of jumping into getting back into the relationship at once

Now this is important. Humans are sadistic, no matter how nice we all are. If your boyfriend knows you’re hurting, it would only make him emotionally stronger. Keep a straight face no matter how hurt you are. Don’t call him up crying, or tell him how much you miss him. His response will only make you hurt more.

I can’t get over my ex bf as well at first, but then I thought of all the ways he used to treat me, the goods and the bad. I revisited the places we used to be one last time, and everywhere I went, I left the memories that we had at the place.

If you have ever heard the old saying that if you love someone set them free, you will probably know that there is a lot of truth to it. Most men love to divide and conquer. With that being said, don’t make it too easy for him to come back. However, before you get to this stage, you need to first build interest on his part in wanting to get back together with you.

There’s only one way to get your ex back to you and make yourself happy, self-sufficient, content and excited about life: build your separate life from your ex, and find it as a source of endless enjoyment and passion. Live life to the fullest. Love yourself first and foremost. Believe that you deserve love and someone who treats you with utmost respect.

The whole coaching session covers how to handle the first contact text message. When I got to the part where Whitney (the woman I was coaching) and I were talking about how to use her knowledge of her ex properly I explained the idea of creating a theme for a text message.

It seems like every time you talk to this friend, they’re complaining about something that’s gone wrong in their life, or telling you about a problem that’s not their fault, or unburdening their unhappiness onto you.

Okay, as mentioned before, eventually, you’ll end up at his or your place, taking your clothes off. This night is what will decide whether you’ll get him back or not. I know this sounds shallow, but it’s the truth.
