Also, take note that a lot of rekindled relationships deal with lack of trust, causing them to experience repeated break-ups. With that in mind, avoid making your move if you are not a hundred percent sure yet if that is really what you want.

My ex broke up with me 4 months ago because of long distance we still talk time to time and the during the no contact phase she showed signs that she was missing me posting songs about missing an ex ect.. When she contacted me firstshe did it for a couple of days and pulled away showing hot and cold mixed messages. Is There a chance that I can still get her back since I’m moving back to where she loves since I got a job offer there?

I cried, I begged for her to take me back and asked her to marry me and told her that there’s no one I would rather be with and that I want her and no one else to be the mother of my kids when we decide to have kids. Also told her that I’d rather be alone than not be with her. This wasn’t in person. This was through texts. And this went on for 2 days after the break up (I can provide what each text said from me and her, to get a sense of things) To be honest with you I meant every word and losing her has destroyed me. She’s the love of my life and my everything!! So I didn’t reply to her last text which was 5 days ago now and tried implementing the no contact rule. She changed her relationship status 2 days after the breakup. The first time we broke up which was 4 years ago, it took her a week to change it. We ended up getting back together 2 weeks after the break up back then after I implemented the no contact rule and blocked her on Facebook. Anyway, I actually changed my relationship status before she did this time and Saturday morning I blocked her on Facebook so I couldn’t stalk her on Facebook and see what she’s up to as it would drive me nuts. The thought of her being with another man sickens me and breaks my heart to the point I just want to die.

Delete those old emails. Erase your text conversations. Stop looking at the hair ties and bobby pins she left behind. Put away the last shirt she left behind at your house. Reminders are only going to make it harder to get over missing her and force you to stay focused on the past.

One additional thought. You might want to check out my post on infusing your interactions with positivity. It’s not just moths that are drawn to light. See http://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/resolution-not-conflict/201207/10-ways-radiate-positivity-and-be-attractive. Maximize the positives in your interactions, delete the negatives like criticism or irritated emotions, and the odds will be likely to shift in your favor.

If you don’t believe in the no contact rule then all I can say to you is that you had better start believing in it. Remember above when I said I spent a lot of time researching this topic? Yea well, I only took a look at credible sources and every one and I mean EVERY SINGLE ONE recommends the no contact rule.

To further help you when you are doing this reflection, find out whether or not you will be willing to rekindle your relationship with her if all the other areas of your life are doing fabulously great. If you don’t see yourself being with her when you have a beautiful life, then maybe what you want is not exactly her but only a romantic relationship even if it does not go smoothly.

I am saying this confidently because I have apply these techniques when my first love broke up with me. I can’t tell exact reason for our breakup but after talking with Brad I realize one thing and that is…

Thus, working on developing yourself is the solution, so that you are actually able to fill this void, derive happiness and satisfaction from within. This happiness and satisfaction from within is actually the source of real self-confidence.

Tell her how you feel. Once she wants you a bit more and can see that you’re a different person, it’s time to stop playing games and to tell her how you really feel. How else can you get the ball rolling? If it ended badly, she’s not going to ask you to pick things up again, so you need to get your act together and open up.

Given that she hasn’t grown, I don’t think getting back is the right call. But since you have demonstrated a lot of attractive qualities in focusing on yourself and cutting the cord, she may try to get back with you. To me, that seems like a bad idea though, given what a catalyst for growth breaking up has been

So then I see a picture on insta of him & that girl & messaged him finding out they started dating less than a week after our last fight because “they just clicked” & right after finals he went to her house out of state & met her parents (she is rich & apparently has her own house). He said they really like each other but don’t love each other yet & isn’t even thinking about marriage. I told him it didn’t make sense why he’s with her & he said he had a change of heart/things happened fast. We had an ugly fight after that because I was so angry, it was the worst one & he said that’s why he left me. I made a lot of mistakes, really seeming needy but he’s blocked me on everything telling me he really likes her & I need to respect that. I said I did & just wanted to talk/be friends (which he said too) but he’s blocked me. I think it’s a rebound but he broke up with a girl like a month before meeting me & he says he completely shuts out exes. It doesn’t seem like they match but that he really likes her. I don’t know what to do but just really want him back since I’m committed to him but I feel like the more they’re together, they’ll fall in love & I’ve already made myself look like a fool. Help!

This one is a minefield for a bunch of different reasons, but it’s also an optimistic and potentially awesome outcome, provided the right preconditions are met. You have to ask yourself some tricky questions, questions you’ll have to be truly truthful about. Like:

It’s natural to think that if the reason you’re in pain is because you are not with your exgirlfriend, than getting back together with her will fix it. The good news is, there are steps to make this happen, and that’s what we are going to explore in this article.
