Hi, we were engaged, she called off our engagement, she is very egoist lying and stubborn and i was abusive (verbally), controlling, jelous, insecure, over possessive. I loved her from the best i have but her ego and stubbornness made me behave wrong to her, i pleaded begged and cried but she didn’t changed her decision, it was me who always use to go to her after every fight where she used to stop talking to me for several days, after broke up i re approached her but she wanted to be friends firstly i said yes but she was so casual and seemed moved on so i started no contact, its been three months i didn’t heard anything from her, she is completely moved on now she seems happy and outgoing and enjoying her life, and here i am so obsessed and crying and dying for her even though i have decided i wont ever contact her or give any signal to contact me, if she wants to workout again then she has to contact me, otherwise its over for me, i am down, i am low but ill get up and ill make it large.
I know no matter what I say here some men will read this and go right into no contact rule. Of course, the big mistake that they make is the fact that consider the no contact rule to be a vacation and they won’t do anything during it.

Hi, my ex and I (both 18) broke up in October and were together from June to September. He broke up with me because I wasn’t reciprocating the love he was giving me and he now feels like since he put his all in the relationship and I didn’t, he can no longer give me a relationship. After the breakup, I was very needy and constantly begged him to get back together. Since then, I have recognized my mistakes and am fully in the mindset to changing them but I’m not sure how to prove that I’ve changed. He’s recently got back with his previous ex about a week ago and I’m scared that he might not want me back. I personally think it’s a rebound relationship since he did try to have sex with me while they were together but he swears he loves her and is serious with her. He still acts as if he has feelings for me but denies them. We never went through a no contact stage either. So, would it be best to do the no contact stage even if it’s been 3 months since we’ve broken up? Is there a good chance that I can gain his love and trust back if I do this? Is it not too late?
We broke up just a few days ago. The guy is younger and has no experience on relationships nor has he kissed someone before him… Before we broke up he said he wanted the same “magic” we had on the beggining… Should I cool for a month before trying something with him again, like even just a friendship
She could be confused still, unable to let go of the past, or perhaps she wants to start off as friends first and is trying to see how she still feels about you. There could also be the last option that she really just wants to maintain a friendship with you and is over you already. I suggest you take things at face value for now since it would be easier compared to second guessing at every turn. Just continue to build up a friendship and bond, before seeing how things go from there. Don’t be too impatient or you would push her away completely.
Dr. Heitler, what a great article! These are really good tips, I will definitely read this again before I see him. This is exactly the kind of positivity I want to emulate with him. I am very willing to put any pressures aside and just focus on trying to rekindle a new relationship where we trust and enjoy each other again.
Sure, it may feel tempting to just hang around inside all night rather than going out, but you have to get back on the proverbial horse at some point. Don’t be afraid to go out, meet new people and start to move on. Filling your day to day life with new people and new experiences will make it easier to stop focusing on how much you wish one particular person were still in your life.
If you follow Brad’s advice and use his sneaky psychological techniques, your ex will be the one pining over you and not the other way around. You’ll finally be able to experience that spark all over again – that intense happiness that just doesn’t go away. And, best of all, if you do watch this free video and get your ex back, Brad will teach you exactly how to keep your relationship going, so that your partner will never, ever think about abandoning you ever again.
My ex dumped me a year ago. The breakup was pretty messy. Anyhow currently we have connected again and are hooking up I’d say about once a week and have sex. I’ve never lost my feelings for him and I’m the one who has initiated our hookups. But… What do I do next to get the relationship back? We text everyday leading up to when we meet then after we don’t till I initiate meeting again. Should I stop all together? I was the one who also said when we first started this that it was just a sexual relationship. No discussions of the past, no outside hanging out etc…
This is where I think I went wrong. I told her I would try to make it to her prom in January although I never promised because I know better. Tickets to Europe aren’t cheap and I had no guaranteed income at the time. As it got closer to January, I had pretty much realized I would not be able to afford a ticket. So, we kind of agreed to stop talking and I figured since her dad died, she deserved a male companion to actually be by her side instead of selfishly keeping her for myself. So I told her maybe find somebody to go to prom with and maybe in the future things might work out.
The first step to win your ex girlfriend back in 5 steps is to be thoughtful at all times. Let her know that you want to be in her life by calling and sending sweet text messages. Please note that this should not be done in excess. This should be done occasionally, just to let her know she’s frequently on your mind.
Be aware that if you text or email messages to your ex about how much agony you’re in without her, she may use this as something to laugh at with her friends or be petty about. Stick to facts if you must contact her, such as “Your stuff is in the box at the front door of my sister’s house. Collect tomorrow or she will take it to the thrift store next day.”
The success rate of the coaching provided by the experts is high, but there is no 100% confirmation that you will get her back. In case you fail to win her heart again then don’t consider yourself as a loser, but move on in life. You will meet many more new girls that would like to have a boyfriend like you. You tried your level best to bring her back, but it is she who doesn’t love you and it is not a good choice to be with such a girl. Meet new girls, I am sure you will definitely find a new girl who will love you and it will be your responsibility to multiply the love towards her to live in a happy relationship.
Show him that you are fine without him. It will be clear to him that you aren’t an obsessed ex girlfriend, but it will also show him that you’re having fun without him, which may result in him missing you more.
Dating again to re-kindle the spark immediately after the breakup doesn’t usually work well, because not enough time has passed since then for real changes to have been made for fresh feelings to develop. Additionally, old habits would still remain, and it could easily turn into a situation where you face all the problems of a relationship, but not the full benefits of it since you guys are only ‘dating’. I suggest taking some time off to actually focus on yourself since he is doing the same, and gauge the situation again later on.
Problem is right now we are not really talking. We have not spoken except in very formal text messages (finalizing the breakup) since the day he said he wanted to break up with me. It’s been about two weeks. He said that he would be willing to meet with me but seemed really defensive that I might just try to beg and plead again. I’m worried if I see him he will just keep trying to shut me off, even if that’s not what I’m doing..
I missed her terribly. I thought about her all the time. I was anxious to meet someone new, but inevitably (if unfairly) I often compared potential new partners to her. At any given moment, there are a handful of pieces of driftwood, floating with the currents of the sea, bearing the simple words, “To ****, I miss you” with my initials underneath.
Hey guys i really need help. Me and our gf have gone through a breakup its not the first time this would be the third time. But i do not know if this one is serious. She said shes too young for a relationship she just wants to be single an live life. She does not want a bf. weve been together for 2 and a half years. I took her birginity and she took mine. But i dont want to lose her im desperate to have her back. I waited a couple of weeks then started speaking to her again. We caught up a couple of times just as friends. But even then she doesnt txt me unless i txt her. And when she replies its only short words. She actually got angry coz i went out with a few mates drinking and she asked if i hooked up with another girl. So that msg to me feels like she still cares for me but doesnt want a relationship. I snapped last night and txtd her and askes if she ever misses us. She said i dont think it can work anymore i just want to live life on my own. People are saying find someone new she was your first love. But the thing is i dont want to. We shared so many good times together. It was always me and her. She was me to a tea i couldnt see myself with anyone else but her. Shes the girl i want to spend the rest of my life with. I need this girl back so bad its not funny.
