Right now, your number one priority isn’t “what is he thinking?” It is to heal from the breakup. Essentially in this case it is ok to be a little selfish and not think of your exes feelings. After all, this isn’t even about his well being it’s about yours.

negative emotions and feelings are working against you, and will wind up pushing him away, while positive emotions and feelings will work for you, and magnetically draw him back to you. – yup, got that right!

Try to understand what your ex wants and where his decisions are coming from. It’s important to be supportive of where he’s at and help him reach his goals. It seems like there are a lot of expectations from you about how your ex should behave and act. This is controlling and will only drive him further away. Why do you want him back if you keep pushing him away?

I also do want to point out that once you start the steps that I outline on this page there is no going back. I like to look at it like this, only begin this page if you are sure that you DO NOT want your ex back. If you are ready to move on from that phase of your life then this page will pretty much do the trick for you. Of course, if there is still a doubt, a hungering that maybe you and your ex could work out in the end I recommend you read this site, post to post. It will give you ideas on exactly what you need to do to get him back.

Proof It Works: When Heather Andrews, an attorney from Leawood, KS, had yet another horrible fight with her boyfriend, she vowed not to break down and call him, which was how they’d reunited in the past. “I knew that to stay single, I had to stay off the phone,” she says. “So I put notes by my phones both at work and home with reminders of truly awful things he’d done or said. Whenever I felt the urge to call him, I was reminded of all the reasons I chose to get out of the relationship. It worked wonders!”

The result is that she thinks you’re weak for not taking the lead, and obviously if she perceives weakness in you, then attraction goes down. It would go against thousands of years of evolution for women to feel attracted to weakness in a man.

A classic tell that you were way more involved in the relationship than she was. Why? Because in a photo like that, you’re fixed on her, but she’s not the same towards you. It’s obvious. And if she knew you were more serious about her than she was about you (she knew – women have a 6th sense for this sh*t), she’d soon have been bored from the lack of challenge you gave. She’d have thought, “If I can get him devoted to me THIS much, then perhaps I can do better”.

It’s not enough that you don’t answer the phone; you must stop looking at him! Delete him from your Facebook page so you don’t have to see him anymore. Remove all those old pictures of him from your phone and take his photos off your shelves. You cannot look at him.

If I had it my way we wouldn’t have broken up in the first place and would have instead tried to work through the issues but up until now every decision has been made for me which has been incredibly hard.

However, there’s a tremendous difference between a woman who takes responsibility for her emotions and a woman who feels the world should just deal with her crappy, negative, burdensome attitude and personality.

Only once, about 40 days in did we text for more than 5 minutes. She told me our relationship never had the “depth” she was looking for and she had found someone else that supports her in ways I didn’t. She said she was sorry for dragging me along when she really knew she didn’t want me anymore for a little bit of time.

I was also pregnant during this time and really wanted to keep my baby. After a month of him putting me down, making me cry, no support & persuading me to get an abortion he somehow convinced me to get the abortion. Which I completely regret now and adds more to my pain. He later on said that he was really scared and that’s why he wanted me to do it.

Give yourself permission to move on.[10]It may be hard to believe that you’ll find love again, but remember that unless you put yourself out there and take risks, you won’t reap any benefits. Learning from past mistakes and applying what you’ve learned in the future is an important part of ending the relationship. Don’t let yourself feel guilty for putting your feelings for your ex, good and bad, behind you.
